As a middle aged Armenian woman, grandmother too, you would not expect vanity. However, I work for a very elite firm and must look sharp at all times. Whiskers are not part of my image ! When I started to see coarser hair on my upper lip, I knew it was time to attack he problem head on. I had read a great deal about lasers, but was still concerned that I not damage my face, while trying to get a stray hair out of the way. I just finished a series of treatments on my legs and thighs. I had tried laser about 2 years ago, at another company, and had terrible burns. I was therefore really shy about doing this again. I drive in from Long Island, an hour each way ,to get my lasering done here. It's really worth the trip. I only have one body and do not like what I hear about some places. I was recommended here by a good coworker and I am very glad I came. My body has not had any problem with the laser used on me. I also got the cooling one, and then the discomfort is so very minimal. I was askd what I thought of my treatments at Romeo and Juliet's- honestly, I could write paragraphs and paragraphs about how happy I came that I came here. I am almost done with the bikini ( I already finished the legs) and will be going for the underarm treatments soon. I have olive skin and wiry hair. Most of my problems come from ingrown hairs and irritation when I do waxing or shaving. Lasers have saved the day for me. Romeoe and Juliet has been wonderful. I had my legs done last year and was told hair could come in a bit and touch-ups would take care of that. Well, no hair came back in and I am now starting with the bikini area. I had heard horror stories from frioends about other places. Never had an issue here. On the contrary, I went swimming and did not have a sun problem after treatment. I love the personal service and the follow-up. Would not go anywhere else ! Pros: They are the best ! more

Highly Recommend 5/21/2009

On a friend's recommendation, I went to R&J for my very first session of laser hair removal yesterday and though I was planning to go for a consultation, I was so impressed with the level of service I jumped right in. Everyone from the owner to the technicians to the darling gal at the welcome desk were extremely warm and made me feel at home. By the end of the session, we felt like old friends. The owner is the President of the Laser association, has state of the art equipment and prominently displays certificates of training about the office. I come from a culure where hair removal is strictly done in the home. Ladies come and wax privately. Living in the US I have had to forgo this luxury. I was tired of the hassle of waxing alone and preparing the wax etc. I had heard about Romeo and Juliette from a woman at work, who is also from my part of the world. She was so happy, she was telling everyone in the lunch room. I called and had a consultation. The information I got, the tour of the facility, the cleanliness and the professionalism all lead me to try their service. I must say, everything said about them is true. Unqualified recommendation 5/15/2009

""Medieval torture"" is what my mother always called hair removal. Not any more ! Since coming to Romeo and Juliette, I now see the end of hair I don't want as a real possibility. I am so thrilled that they have several to notch lasers and that I have had no adverse reactions to any of them . I have had friends who went to less reputable places and ended up with burns and rashes. I have had no such issues. I really like the seriousness with which they approach their customers. They know that playing with lasers is potentially dangerous, and so they take EXTRA CARE to watch that you are ok, and that your skin respondes well to the treatments. I have really delicate skin, and was sick of shaving. My roommate found Romeo and Juliette, and she loves it. So, when my whinig go to be unbearable, she dragged me over here. I did not realise that it is so simple to treat the chin with laser. I had ingrowns that are now gone. The whole treatment took about 5 minutes with very little discomfort. Very pleasant experience. The staff made me feel very comfortable. Pros: Very easy Cons: addictive more

A notch above the rest 5/14/2009

I love the fact that they only do laser hair removal. I asked them about spider veins and they referred me to an MD. I am getting my legs and underarms treated. I am on my first treatment and have a clean up session coming up in a few weeks. They seem to charge per area and with a package, my pricing is cheaper than many other places. I came here because they have been in business for a very long time. I did not want to trust my face to just anyone. I have dark skin and was scared of lasers. After my first session, I feel very happy. They used I think a NYAG laser on me and said that they would use a different one on me next time. I am of Greek origin and have always battled my extra body hair in the traditional, painful and messy ways. A girlfriend at the gym, recently was raving about her great laser treatment. Wayward eyebrows eliminated ! 5/13/2009

I was planning a wedding and my bridesmaid insisted that I plan on taking care of, permanently, my famous eyebrows. You know, I felt afraid to have anyone aim a laser at my face. I called around and finally got to speak to Chris, who reassured me about the safety and efficacy of the lasers on the face. Since he, the owner, does these types of treatments himself, and he has a slew of experience,I trusted him and got my eyebrows treated. Sunbathing beautuful legs ! 5/13/2009

I planned very well to have hair removal lined up and now that the warm weather is here, no more chicken legs! I waxed for years until a friend told me about Romeo and Juliette and the great new lasers they have. It was remarkable. I had a treatment and in three days hair fell and fell and then again and the same thing. I was rid of all the legs hair and the thighs too and am already sunning myself in this beautiful weather.
