The Worst pizza I have ever eaten. Bland. Dry. Tasteless.\r The garlic cheese bread was soggy and made on a sandwich roll. Yuk. $29 later, and carry out boxes that went directly in the trash when we got home. more

Good overall 4/14/2008

Roma's is great. It's a great place just to go hang out and eat pizza. Their pizza is very good and reasonably priced. I especially love their Bosco Sticks which are cheese-filled bread sticks. The staff is pleasant and helpful. It is a great place to go for pizza. more

!BEST PIZZA IN THE WORLD! This is the best pizza by far. I grew up with romas pizza. Since I come from an Italian family, I appreciate the quality of their food. When the family first opened their business my grandmother was one of the few Italians in the area that could relate with them since she spoke the language. And my grandfather helped with their plumbing in the old location. It was a great childhood experience for me since I looked forward to seeing them and eating the pizza. I have taken many people there through the years. They are very personable. And I always have to take pizza back home with me . Pros: food,atmosphere and service more

GREATEST PIZZA EVER! 6/20/2007

Roma's is the best pizza I have ever eaten in the St. Louis Area. I do love Chicago style pizza as well, but for St. Louis style, it gets no better! I could seriously eat there every day. Their pasta is great too. I can tell the Sicilian background by the delicious sweet sauce. YOU MUST EAT AT ROMA'S! It will be the greatest pizza of your life. Pros: greatest pizza, great place for families and friends to meet for a meal. Cons: not closer to my house! more

I LOVE ROMA'S 4/4/2006

I have eaten at Roma's since it was a small 3 table restaurant, with a soda machine for drinks. It is much bigger now; but the quality of the food has not changed. I eat there at least once a week. The pizza crust is home made and their sauce is out of this world. When I lived in Texas I would purchase 5 or so ""half baked"" pizzas, freeze them and wrap them in newspaper for insulation. That way when I got back to Texas I could always have one. The green olives, in my opinion, make the pizza at roma's extra special. Warm friendly atmosphere, quick service, take out or eat in. Superb Pros: wonderful taste, good value, EXCELLENT SERVICE Cons: Rude Bethalto kids, undiplined children, NOISY CHILDREN more

Best Pizza Anywhere 1/14/2006

This is the BEST Pizza anywhere!! I grew up eating Roma's Pizza, and no other pizza compares. (Try the Hamburger, mushroom and green olive.) I no longer live in the area, but when we are home for a visit we always make sure to get Roma's. There simply isn't any better pizza out there! We also like the spaghetti and baked mostaccioli. You will not be disappointed. We also like to get half baked pizzas to bring home with us so we can have it when we we have to leave the St. Louis area. Pros: Unique, family owned, friendly more

come to bethalto an see why a place far from the big city is on the best pizza list. the first place my son and family go when they come back here for a visit is roma's. he lives in Italy before and knows real italian food. great pizza great price in 20 minutes. new location and building same good food. This is a saturday must at our house. All three of my kids love the pizza and know when saturday arrives it is pizza day. You can't fool them it is only Romas for them.. And of course for us parents too. more

I am a huge fan of Roma's Pizza and have been for several years. It is with out a doubt the best pizza and value around. Nothing compares to their crust and sauce. Way to go! Locally owned and operated forever and personalized service. Atmosphere while dining in is great- Tradtional Pizzeria! Pros: Inexpensive Cons: Loud, Crowded, Parking more

Great pizza in the atmosphere 5/27/2005

Roma's Pizza has the best pizza that i have ever tasted, its not to far from St.Louis .Its family owned.Once you taste the pizza you know it is different then most pizzas.If you ever want to take your family to a nice resturaunt that taste so awesome Romas is the place. Good Pizza at Roma's 5/18/2005

The restaurant was not crowded was served at 1pm.The pizza from the first bite was hot and wonderful to taste. Pizza's are inexpensive.I reccomend the Roma's Special.Service was immediate.I wish Roma,s was closer to me. more

Once you have tried Roma's Pizza you will always come back for more!! My son and I love the hamburger, mushroom and green olive pizza!! YES, I said GREEN OLIVES!! The other pizza chains do not offer this yummy topping. I also love the salads- Roma's uses the best cheese and fresh lettuce. Give it a try, you will not be disapointed.     The Pizzo Family, originally from Sicily, Italy, Opened Roma's Pizza Palace, on Prairie St. in Bethalto on February 20th, 1973. The parlor quickly became a favorite spot specializing in our original recipe pizza from Italy. Our family history has endured it's trials, including: armed robbery, burglary & a fire that destroyed our building on Prairie St., causing us to relocate to 136 W. Bethalto Blvd. To resolve parking difficulties due to our growth, we then moved to 121 E Bethalto Dr. Through it all, we still serve delicious, mouth watering pizza. Our business is not all that has grown. We are now into our 3rd generation. Mimma, Rosa, Angelo & Vincenzo. Angelo, Lin, Julian & Alexia.
