Ok I have been eating here for a while now and I have also dined at the new location. The food is always great but they still struggle with the service. The service is very nice but sometimes you will be forgotten. You cannot get patties or pastries at the new location (hope this will change) only at the old location further south. Great job keeping the food stocked and not running out. To all please give your concerns to the owner he is a great guy and will listen as he strives for greatness. more

Absolutely fabulous! I Have tried almost everything on the menu and never disappointed. My favorite is the oxtail. I make it there every Friday for my share. The owners and servers know me by name and even know how I like my meal. They even know my favorite drink, ting. Except for Fridays, I usually order the jerk chicken salad. All natural chicken, with avocado, plantains, tomato, etc....love it! Thx Rocksteady for taking the chance to serve foods no other Jamaican restaurant dare to serve. Not anyone I have been to in South Florida. more

What a pleasant surprise! I was shocked (and ecstatic!) to find Jamaican cuisine in Boca Raton... so glad I did! I eat here very often for lunch during the work week, and haven't had a dish I didn't completely love. For those of us who love, were raised on, or want to try Jamaican/Caribbean cuisine; this is it. :o) You can count on getting true Jamaican dishes, just with a hip, urban twist- making it easy to love for those who may be unfamiliar with the food. Even though I reside in Fort Lauderdale, this cool, delicious cafe is worth every mile! Don't miss out! more

Now, while I don't profess to be a Jamaican food connoisseur, I do profess to have a pretty keen culinary compass. And as such I can safely attest that it doesn't get much heartier or more flavorful than the consistently tasty fare at Rocksteady Cafe. Across the board; insipred, feel-good food, great Reggae (live on Thursday nights), served by one of the friendliest staffs around. Red Stripe, Beef Patty, Jerk Chicken-- "winning." more

Simply irresistible. The Jerk Chicken Sandwich on Cocoa Bread is awesome! And the Yucca fries are off their rocker. I appreciate the little things too, such as the ambience, amazingly friendly staff, cooked to order ingredients AND Glass bottle Sodas. Only complaint is the young employee who always gets my name/phone number/order wrong, not that he isn't polite though, he is. I wish there were many, many more places like this one. more

This is an awesome sandwich. Grilled boneless Jerk Chicken (not too spicy) with Avocado, Bacon, Tomato, Provolone Cheese on sweet Cocoa Bread. Irresistable!\r \r You can also have this in a wrap and on a salad. All of it is Irie! more
