Rockstar Body Piercing

Rockstar is not the only place I've gotten pierced. I've been to quite a few shops and none of them hold a candle to Rockstar. Not only are the piercers the most knowledgeable I've ever met, but they take the time to walk you through everything including explaining why their jewelry is superior to other places. And they've got the widest variety of jewelry I've ever seen! They truly live up to their reputation of being Scrupulously Clean :) Pros: VERY clean, VERY knowledgeable staff, best quality jewelry. Bascially, I just got my cartilage pierced 2 hours ago. All i can tell you is this, I was more nervous in the car on the way up to Prov. then I was standing in Rockstar. Everyone is extremely professional and very nice. The room they pierce you in is as clean as a doctor's office and Jeff( the man who pierced me) was calming, knew what he was doing, and he changed his gloves after each thing he did to my ear. I could not be more happy with my piercing, and I 100% recommend going to Rockstar for any piercing!!! Pros: Calming, CLEAN, Professional, good quality jewlery Cons: parking is ok more

The guys at Rockstar are the nicest body piercer employees ever! They answered every question I had- even the ones I thought were dumb- in a really sincere manner. This place is amazing! Ive gotten all my piercings here and would never go anywhere else. They are so clean and sterile! I think everytime they touched me or something else they washed there hands and put on new gloves! I recommend this place to anyone! more

The guys at rock star are so professional its awesome. I am a 44 yr mom who is so pleased with my own piercings from Jeff & Jay that I have taken my daughter there for her industrial ear piercing. I have recommended numerous friends and co-workers for various different piercings and EVERYONE has been overly pleased. Now they are recommending them to their friends. The place is extremely clean and the rooms are unbelievably clean. Their professional attitude shows they love what they do. Everyone is so nice and discreet, its an extremely comfortable setting. Rockstar is by far one of cleanest and most professional shops in North America. Being someone who has worked in the industry all over North America and has received OSHA blood-born pathogens training I know what I?m talking about. When it comes to sterile technique Rockstar Body Piercing goes above and beyond the industry standard.\r Jef Saunders, Jay Pond and Billy Wood have all been trained by Fakir Musafar whom has pretty much set the industry standard for piercing technique. Jef Saunders teaches the Fakir Intensive with Fakir Musafar several times a year and is a well respected within the industry.\r That being said, the jewelry selection at Rockstar for both initial piercings and healed is second to none. They have jewelry in stock that isn?t available anywhere else. All of their jewelry is implant grade surgical steel and internally threaded. There any many shops in New England who don?t care about the quality of their jewelry and continue to use external threads. In terms of piercings and jewelry like most things in life, you get what you pay for. If you look for the most inexpensive you are going to get usually get the worst. If you are looking for someone to pierce you for $20 to $30 dollars cheaper, you will get what you pay for in terms of quality jewelry and professionally trained, knowledgeable staff who follow and surpass the department of health?s standards. Just because this parlor is on thayer street does not make it amazing. Good surroundings but poor piercers. I went with a friend for her to get a gauges and I liked what I saw like most of you. Very clean .. large jewlery selection. Kind of a small space though. I went back to get my naval pierced. There was no clamp used and he pierced my shallow and sideways. My belly got infected and I had another piercer tell me how bad it was. It cost me $80 for the piercing which i do not have anymore and only a scar with scar tissue remains. THANKS ALOT !! Besides a normal price in providence to get your naval done is less than $50. Don't let this nice people and atmosphere influence you. Make sure they are using the right equipment. I highly recommend rockstar, the staff is fantasic!! The shop is very clean, and they used sterile technique placing my PA. I'm now going back to have my nipples done. Great Place as they explain everything and make everything go smooth. Thanks Jef for a great job. Ive gotten my nape (the back of my neck) and both of my nipples pierced at Rockstar...I love going there. It is very clean and a comfortable atmosphere. Jef is maybe one of the sweetest people Ive ever met, and he made me feel very comfortable (after all he was piercing my nipples). My roommate and I have gotten pierced there twice in the last 4 months and have never had a bad time, and when anyone asks me where to go...thats the only place i would ever send them.....Rockstar is the shit...need i saymore? I absolutely loved Rockstar! They keep the place so clean and sterilized! I felt very comfortable and relaxed while I was there. I am actually going there tommorow! So if you're looking for a place to get something pierced, Rockstar is the place!!!!!!!! Cons: Parking more

I heard good things about this place, but after going I would not go back. The piercer was really obnoxious, and even though the place seemed clean enough the wait and the number of people just hanging around was annoying. more
