Good: Nothing -- the food was salty and served cold, the service was nonexistent. We waited 15 minutes after we were seated to get menus, and another sizable chunk of time to place our order. We got no water until we begged, no refills, no napkins or utensils, and no bread for our hungry kids. It took over an hour for a mediocre meal to arrive. What's to like -- nothing at all except the location: if you live on Mercer Island, it's convenient.. Bad: The lack of service ruined the meal. Only the "regulars" were fed, while several other parties waited, and waited, and waited without water, bread or salad. the waitresses' attitude was terrible. We had to get our own water, refills, napkins and utensils. Marie Callendar's froze lasagna tastes better, costs less and comes with utensils and water from my own kitchen. Stick with the grocery store frozen section rather than wasting your time and money at Roberto's.. Improvements: Basic service would be nice: a glass of water in the first 15 minutes, salad and utensils within 15 minutes after ordering, at least one water refill, napkins and food served warm.. Other: We're not that fussy, so I can only conclude that positive reviews come from regulars (who receive average service rather than lousy service) and insiders -- no disinterested person could consider the food good or the service even marginal..
