As you enter Rizzoli you are greeted with warmth.A soothing environment,A style of decor found in Europe.Sometimes with music,at times with solely the sound of silence.Rizzoli prides itself in its books dealing with fine art,architecture,music,fashion and more. A fine collection of music is available. Intelligent,knowledgeable staff.A literary oasis. more

The Bloomingdale's of Bookstores 5/17/2002

This place is so formal you want to straighten your tie upon entering. It's not that the store has all that many books: Current releases and best-sellers up fron, fancy $50 cookbooks in the back, and a good selection of foreign magazines. Upstairs the emphasis is on art, architecture, photography and music. It's a nice place to visit even if you don't find anything appealing there. more
