Ripley's Believe It Or Not is not worth the price 6/21/2009

I agree with the last comment, it was boring, I think it would have been better if they would have had more show clips describing the items on display. As far as the wax museum some of the exhibits did not even look like the person they represent. more

Boringggg 11/29/2008

I didn't really enjoy this place. It is way over priced for what you get. It was fun to an extent, but then it just got boring reading more and more and more stuff overrrrr and over again. I would ONLY recommend going here if you're not going to be with kids, I'm sure they would get really bored really easily. more

great experience 7/17/2008

The Ripleys museums are great!! They have a lot of statues and characters to touch and pose with. Yes there is some reading to do but it's not too intensive. They also have fun things for the kiddo's to do. They can play on the interactive 2nd floor and make a wax hand. Nothing too scary unless you go to the haunted house but the museum itself is very entertaining and well worth the price. Believe it or not! (lol) By the way, the spinning light tunnel on the 3rd floor was my daughters favorite. Pros: awesome family attraction Cons: parking more

Love this place! 11/30/2005

We bought the package for both attractions that was $18 for adults and $10 for kids. You should expect to spend alot of time here because there is so much to read especially in the believe it or not museum. Some of these things are so hard to believe! I guess that's why they picked the name for it! Our kids got rather impatient because my husband and I like to read everything on each exhibit. The wax museum was very nice also. Most of the figures looked just like the actor/actres/singer that they were molded after. Everyone in my family wanted pictures of them all. * word of caution* Don't try to stand up next to the figure, or an alarm will go off. We found that our thanks to my husband who wanted to stand right next to Stalone as Rocky! PROS: Lots of neat facts and things to look at CONS: cost more

Awesome entertainment for Everyone! 9/2/2005

If you're into the unusual you'll love this place. Even kids love it. There are so many exhibits you won't know where to go first. Tickets are pretty reasonable (around $15 per person) and the experience is one you'll talk about for days! My favorite is the Odditorium, weird at it's finest! The gift shop is stocked with all kinds of novelties, some are reasonable others are not. If you've never been, you've got to go at least once! It's right across from the Alamo. PROS: Great place to spend a day off! CONS: more

Interesting... 8/22/2005

I like to visit the believe it or not museums whenever I can. They are all different and have unique items. I think it is a cheap way to entertain the entire family. This one is very interesting. We also like the wax museum. There was a horror part you can skip if you have small children. more

very cool place 7/5/2005

The wax museum is always fun and very cool. Ripleys is very cool esspecially in the hurricane room. make sure to get your hands dipped in the wax for something cool to show off. You will be amazed from the moment you walk in. Price is best if you can find a coupon. more

Kinda Boring 7/9/2002

Wax Museam was ok, but some of the figures did not look accurate at all. There is a shop inside the museam where they can take a picture of you and place it inside an astronaut, dancer, etc which was pretty neat. There is also a haunted wax area which is a good place to take a date too. The Believe it or not area was pretty boring though mostly reading plaques on a wall.... I would try the Ripleys Believe it or Not Haunted House down the street instead it looked kinda neat. . . more
