Rings of Fire

I was not happy with the art work at Ring Of Fire. I wanted a tattoo that was original and only I would have. I had an idea of what I wanted and instead the tried to convince me to get somthing they could draw, using a combination of pictures from ""Old School"" art. Good think I shopped around, because I went to Tiger's Den, where they not only could come up with something I wanted, but they totally free lanced it on the area I wanted and made it ten times better than what I expected. These guys are TRUE artist and ORIGINAL! If you want something...that everyone has... or a famous KNOWN pic.. RING of FIRE, I am sure can do the trick for you. I went to get a cover up to have them make a cross. Came back a week later so they could work on it. They came up with some drawings that had nothing to do with a cross. They said there is no way they can make a tribal cross out of what I had. It was impossible. I went to tigers den and they not only did a cover up but they made an awesome cross out it. Just what I wanted instead of having to settle for something else. Yeah they might be artists but they aint no freelance artist. Plus they refused to give me back my deposit which was suppose to go towards my tattoo that they couldn't do. Sorry but I'd recommend tigers den before this place. They will make it work. more

Me and a friend went to San Antonio to get away for a few days from Houston and we just decided what the hell lets go ahead and get a tattoo, since I am coming up on my 40th birthday. We had NO clue where to go and a friend told me to go some place behind her work. Well there were FOUR tattoo places so we picked Rings of Fire because it looked the nicest. I have been wanting to paw prints because of my job and Chela was the bomb! She was great, friendly and professional and she did beautiful work. Chela you ROCK girl! Pros: Friendly staff, clean, great work Cons: didn't find any more

These guys are a class act and are CRAAAAZY dudes. The thing is..they are kick-ass tattoo artists. I have had several tattoos before but never had a tattoo artist DRAW the actual picture on my body first without TRACING it off an actual guide. CHEESE is the bomb and does an excellent job at his job, as well as his demeanor with the people that go in to get inked up. He's really chill but...as I said...I am friggin stoked about my Japanese Traditional Koi fish tatoo and hibiscus flower. I still have the color to go back and get but...It looks friggin awesome and was hand DRAWN...not TRACED! If you need a tatoo....go see CHEESE!! more

This was my first tattoo and CHEESE done an awesome job. The people there are crazy and cool. I would definately go back for another tat. more
