When I signed up for the membership I had paid 200$ for enrollment and 9$/month. They get your 1st month and last month dues in advance. They have a 30 day notce period for cancellations. \r \r I had a temperory contract job that I had to travel out of state and was tentatively for 6 months and so I spoke with the manager @ the Campbell location and gave him a copy of my flight itenary and explained him that I don't have the return ticket as I am not sure when it'll get over. He sincerely fwded all the information to the back office for processing and thought if was all fine without any issue. When I called him he told me everything went fine as they haven't called him from the office. \r \r Since I have signed for auto payment, my credit card statement shows that they are charging. So I called the 1 866 no. to talk to the customer service. They weren't even aware that they have a request on file for this. After I told them they dig thru their papers abd say they cannot honor it as they will only hold for medical issues. The other big LIE was that they were about to call me that day to inform abpout the same. The rep was very rude and totally unacceptable. So I decided to cancel the membership with a loss of 200 bucks.. but the info I got was that they'll charge you the following month even after the signed cancellation and then the last month advance that they get will kick in after that. Which means that if I give a signed cancellation on Sep, 25th I still get charged for upto Dec 15th since my billing is on the 15th.\r \r So the service is as cheap as the club. I was sure happy with the people @ the Campbell location, the manager John is very good. classic bait and switch scam i just ran into. We recieved a advertisment in the mail in june 2008 to add a family member for additional 5 dollars a month which sounded like a great deal. we went in and talked with Rep with right stuff on blossom hill. At first we could not get this deal because my wife had already prepaid 3yrs in advance. i was very specific with him that all i wanted to pay a month was 5 dollars for the additional family member like the coupon advertise or i would never have joined at all. He later called in the next day a left me a voicemail that it could be done so that i may be added on for just $5 a month. i had work that day but my wife went in with a current bill with my name and address on it and added he me onto my wifes acct. he voiced to my wife that i was added on at 5 dollars a month BUT on the contract he written down $14 dollars. then at the time of the signing all he said was sign here and inital here and then wrapped the paperwork in the envelope. the first month i was charged 5 dollars so i believed that it was normal, until the second bill arrived it was then $14. we then marched to the right stuff and spoke to a general mgr. He advised us that there was 2 options. 1) 5 erollment and $14 a month or 2) $99 erollment and 5 a month. i would never have agreed to any of that but the contract was signed and binding. let this be a lesson to everyone to read what you sign. i will be cancelling this acct because we were LIED to. $14 dollars is nothing to me. for me, it is the principal. i will say that i will not recommend this place to my friends and family. more

Since christmass 2007, the Right Stuff Health Club has added new treadmills, bigger tvs, and a cleaner atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful, they offer awesome classes, and it's the best gym i've ever worked out at. It gets kinda busy in the evenings but only for a couple hours. The only problem i have with the place is there is never enough parking. I would deffinately recomend The Right Stuff to anyone looking to get in shape or stay in shape! Pros: Helpful, friendly, clean, loads of equipment, clean spacious dressing/locker rooms. Cons: Never enough parking! more
