Best

Prices seem slightly high but not beyond reach and they never put out coupons, but I find that to be the only downside. Always the same staff and they remember you everytime, it'...

Worst

Wow, how this place ever got to number 4 is beyond me. People must be too polluted on the fishbowls to remeber the bland food. I didn't care for the water in the bottom of thw p...

disgusting food 6/30/2005

i have eaten here twice, the first time i thought maybe i just ordered the wrong thing, and the second time i was sure the place is horrible. the worst pizza i've ever had in my life. i was with 6 other people that all agreed the food was unbelievably bad. very slow service too. stay away. more

gross. 5/1/2005

It's gross. Only the first two words of this review matter, the rest are just to get over the ten word minimum. more

terrible service 2/25/2005

Tried this place twice, both times were extremely slow, first time I forgot every detail, second time I ate with both in town family (with 2 hungry little kids) and out of town family, once it was 45 minutes of us all waiting for our food our waiter said it will be out shortly, then it took another 15 minutes, an hour in total to get our food, food is good like all hill food, place was a little loud for the hill, not coming back this generation Pros: hill food Cons: bad service, loud more

Rigazzi's not for the real Italian 8/21/2004

My wife and I visiting from Boston, hoping to find good Italian as we have in the North End. This not the place. Lots of people, but apparently they do not know good Italian. The Pasta w/ sea food dishes were all the same. A very cheesy cream sauce. Not at all real Italian. The salad covered with Cheddar Cheese. This not Italian. more

Great Spot 5/17/2004

We came in from out of town and drove around The Hill for a while trying to find a place to eat at. We picked Rigazzi's and found the best Italian food we've ever had. The manicotti was incredible as was the ziti and other pasta dishes. It was a great experience and a place that I would reccomend to anyone looking for great Italian food. Pros: Great Pasta, Great Deal Cons: , service wasn't super more

Horrible experience 5/10/2004

Took out of town friends to this restaurant after hearing so much about it. Service was SLOW and INACCURATE (later discovered waiter was manager). Food was the worst I've ever had at a restaurant, no one finished their food. Bland or burnt or unrecognizable. As soon as we got there, both our cars were broken into (and 3 2 others). Manager knew of this and would not allow police in to notify us when they asked. They waited outside for us 10 minutes until another waiter finally told us they smashed our windows and police were outside and allowed us out. When we complained to manager he said he'd done his part?? $100 for a horrible night. Cons: , Worst service, dangerous parking lot more

AN AMazing Restaurant 10/10/2003

Besides for the amazing food, incredible service, and exceptional atmosphere, Rigazzi's offers what most restaurants simply fail to provide: a home-like experiece. Name for me five restaurants that have kept the same owners for nearly fifty years. You can't replace what Rigazzi's has to offer in tradition and pride. Mabey more restaurants should mimic their style: I would be much happier to eat out every day if that were the case. I definately recommend visiting them. Pros: food, price, atmosphere more

Food is awful 2/4/2003

Wow, how this place ever got to number 4 is beyond me. People must be too polluted on the fishbowls to remeber the bland food. I didn't care for the water in the bottom of thw pasta bowl, the flavoreless sauce, or the burnt pizza. The fishbowls were outstanding though. The only reason to go there in my opinion. Pros: ice cold beer Cons: Bad Food more

I don't understand the fuss 1/29/2003

Since moving here I've heard how GREAT Rigazzi's was. What a disappointment! The red sauce would have been better had it come out of a can, pasta was mushy, white sauce was bland and service was lacking. I did enjoy the flash fried spinach, but not enough to make a return visit. more

Friendly Italian 1/12/2003

Classic relaxed Italian neighborhood restaurant. The family feel makes you look for Grandma stirring the soup pot in the back. Checkered tablecloths, pictures of Yogi and Joe Garagiola on the walls and the fishbowl beers just top it all off. Pick a pasta, any pasta d you just can't go wrong. Be prepared fpor a wait during peak hours. Pros: pasta, atmosphere Cons: waiting time more

Great Italian food! 11/8/2002

Great Italian food...fun atmosphere....don't mind the wait...because the drinks are cold! The pasta is fantastic...and the prices are low... more

rigazzi's under-rated 10/17/2002

Still one of the best buys in the city - I do miss the older waiters with their faded dinner jackets - for value, rigazzi's should be rated in the top ten italian restaurants in st louis ( it sure as hell is a better place than Zia's) and you might even sit next to some real people. Pros: real taste, cheap, crowded more

at's amore 10/11/2002

We travel about 30 miles every Saturday afternoon to eat at Rigazzi's. Love the food. Love the ambiance. Love the staff. Have never had a less than perfect meal. Pros: Great Food, Family Friendly, Fun Cons: Not enough parking, Evenings are crowded more

Raspberries tp Rigazzi's 10/8/2002

Ownership must have changed hands since the fire. The check was over $63.00 for lunch for four...just sandwiches (lunch specials) and beverages such as iced tea and soda.! Some of my favorites are no longer served, such as the Reuben burger. Service was poor. I am sorry to say that I will not come back and that Rigazzi's was once a favorite of mine Pros: location, not crowded, new bathrooms Cons: food, service, price more

Good Old Italian Restaurant 8/28/2002

I like this restaurant because it is good food and for the money you get lot and it is a nice envierment and i think people should think of St.Louis for the best italian food. more

Love It 8/25/2002

I have to eat here, every time I'm in town. Which isn't near enough. You are sure to be pleased! Cons: Parking more

Ragu makes a better white sauce 8/16/2002

... and any frozen entree from the grocery store would have been more enjoyable than the meal here. After tasting the soft Italian bread then the oily butter that soaked my breaded chicken breast - I had eaten enough. The service was good and the wait staff very attentive though. If you're going for the food and you've never eaten Italian anywhere else but Olive Garden, than this place will be fine for you. If, however, you've had the pleasure of real Italian food - stay away. Pros: good service Cons: terrible food more

you won't find me here again 8/13/2002

went for first time after hearing a lot about it. the place didn't match the hype. food was just ok. white sauce was good but red sauce was crap. best I can say is we were full but not overly impressed. Cons: food marginal more

A must 8/8/2002

Great food, excellent food and fun. Great atmosphere and definitely worth the wait. There isn't a place anywhere in the country, where I would wait an hour to get a table. I can't believe its not number one! more
