Westside8155 has to be a ""plant"". Perhaps one of the ill-qualified, GHETTO/BARRIO ""females"" working in the office of that Poo-lleria. Richmond Chase apartments are deplorable. I concur with all of the reviews thus far, save the last one by ""Westside8155"" as , again , it is an obvious FAKE review. I, too, don't know where to start. First of all, the rent is too damn high for such a disgusting place. the late fees are higher than anyone I know has ever seen. They charge the maximum allowed by law. The behemoths that pass for dogs are allowed to poo everywhere... On concrete, in grass, in undesignated areas, etc. it's just a gross place to live. The females in the office, I hesitate to call any of them ""managers"" or leasing agents as they are just three chicks hanging out in an apartment complex collecting rent from people with less than stellar credit who unfortunately have to be subjected to such sub-par treatment. Jasmine, Gloria and Christina are as unprofessional as one can get. I must say that of the three, Gloria seems to have tried to tone her ratchetness down a bit in that she used to be the ""in your face"" confrontattional type. I read her a couple of times and she left me alone...or maybe she just saw how bad they all looked and decided to try to become professional. The jury is still out. There is so much bad going on at these apartments I doubt that City Search will allow me to type it all as I will run out of characters. \r \r I think they take money from tenants for late fees and all kinds of crazy fees with nefarious intent. I paid $19.00 for some mini blinds that never were put on the windows. There was a huge hole in one of the bathrooms from the day my friend moved in until the day she left. They patched it up once and never cared to try it again. The carpet was filthy when she moved in. She requested three times for it to be cleaned. They ignored all three requests. The place is a palace for roaches and other creepy crawlies. It's just deplorable. \r \r The main reason I would suggest that anyone would try to find somewhere else to live is because there is a so much illegal activity going on in the complex. You name it. It's in Richmond Chase. I think there is a drug dealing conglomerate in there. it's just scary. Prostitution...You name it....and...the ""manager"" is aware of all of that. They don't care because these are people who can't rent other places because of legal issues, bad credit or other problems. So, they charge exorbitant amounts of rent and down payments and treat people like crap. \r \r Jasmine doesn't even ""work"" ... She just comes in and out delegating the ""duties"" to the other two females. She has a very nasty disposition and a bad habit of trying to get over on people. She will say one thing but, do another and has the attitude that whatever she does, she's untouchable because people in dire straits or desperate situations sign leases that are obviously designed to take advantage of their situation. She tries to be very condescending and is just so unprofessional. If I owned a company I would not want someone like that representing me. It gives the owners a bad name. I don't know if they care about being depicted as slum lords as long as the money is coming in. At some point, decency should come in. \r \r There are more detailed and specific issues my friend had with them but, that will be addressed legally or person to person with someone from JRK Residential who is not friends with Jasmine and willing have an objective view and concern for doing what's right. No one who is interested in doing what's right would condone the way that play is being run. I didn't move in into the apartment but I was suppose to. I gave them the application and administrative fee which totals 150 bucks that is non refundable. They told me if I canceled on the application I wouldn't get that back. I got approved and gave them 100 to hold the apartment. I have a dog so they told me that the deposit was 300. Well on the website it said that it was $250. The leasing agent told me that it was an error and that it was 300. Basically they were false advertising the deposit. Should have been sign number one. Well I got another job and it required me to travel so I advised them that I wouldn't be moving on that day I said so I didn't want to maybe get my deposit back but maybe a later move in date. Christmas and New Years passed and no word. I called today no the rude *** ***** of a manager Jasmine over talked me and flat out told me she wasn't giving me my deposit back. When I spoke to corporate JRK, a unprofessional hoe by the name of Jasmine told me that I should have read the application before I just signed it because all monies are no refundable. These people are out of line and no one and I mean no one should move into these apartments. They steal your money and are rude flat out! Don't even look at the property. more

I have lived here for almost 1 yr. This is the worst experience I have ever had. The people in the office are not friendly and the maintenance is horrible. During the coldest months of the year (Dec., Jan., and Feb.) I was without heat. I contacted the office 6 times about the heater not working before they finally sent someone out. They told me that they needed a piece that took them over a month to get. My dishwasher was old and rusty when I moved in. They said they would replace it but it has not happened. When you try and speak with the office concerning matters, the only thing they have to say is some smart sarcastic remark. 90% of the time, there is no security nor is there a security officer on the premises. The exercise room is always filled with people from the streets either changing clothes or using the restrooms. I have had personal items stolen from me twice within 2 weeks while living there.I would not recommend these apartments to a dog let alone any human being. It doesn't deserve a rating but in order to post this I have to give it something. Pros: l roof over your head Cons: no parking, no security, no maintenance more

after moving here have had several incidents and even though one of my neighbors is houston police department crime and management of the property is aweful, there ediquite is something unseen of and is deplorable , and allowing tow trucks in to tow residence vehicles and there resolution is oh we have photo and most times they dont , they do not have assigned parking or covered parking , and I would never recommend this site to anyone I actually care for for fear of there safety as I AM NOW FINDING OUT AND JUST TO NOTE IT FLOODS ALL OVER THERE PROPERTY CONStanley and there ac repairs is by a unliscensed fool more

Close to everything, work and play. Good rent prices and nice staff. Been here 4 years. Plan to renew for another year. Pros: evening gate attendants, well lit, good parking Cons: older place... but that's what you get if you want cheaper rent. I'm okay with that. more
