At the busy interesection of 10th street and 83 I did not expect easy parking and immediate seating on a Friday night! Prompt but not rushed service by the attentive waiters was so welcome. The quiet classy brick inside and out was instantly relaxing. Stuffed Chile Fritos were an adventurous choice on my part, and I was not disappointed: hand-breaded Anaheim peppers stuffed with goat cheese, cream cheese and chorizo, and fried to a golden brown. Absolutely delicious. Then Desert Fire Pasta (Sauteed Gulf shrimp, angel hair pasta and mushrooms, tossed in a light poblano cream sauce) was a second adventure that paid off. Here were two unique menu items that made you happy you didn't stick to the safe steak, burger or pizza. From beginning to end our dining experience was perfect, both in atmosphere and taste. Our twentieth anniversary is tomorrow but I feel like we started celebrating today. We'll be back when in the area!
