Recently my wife and i stopped into the Reo for some dinner after a long drive from eastern PA. To say the least we were hungry.
As i sat down, i noticed one of the waitresses giving one young black man and his girl friend so much trouble, i thought maybe he was rude, BUT NO!
I asked the young girls at the table next to ours what was going on? The girls replied quietly, ""he did nothing i guess she just hates him, well she not nice anyway."" The girl furthest away said, ""i think she hates blacks"".
I became worried because I'm of mixed persuasion and my wife is white, though i can pass as white.
As i turned back, i noticed she was hitting the guy in the back as he was trying to take a bite of his food.
She then turned her attention to us, we asked for coffee to start. Then she got belligerent with us. Saying things like, ""Yeah, can't you people come in and just make up your mind, already,"" storming off she got our coffee, and i noticed it didn't look right as if she spit in it.
I then said to my wife i don't think this place is good, lets go.
So to save us and her the trouble, we left still hungry, i did complaint to the manager who seemed as clueless and scared of the bully as everyone there seemeded to be too.
Needless to say we won't be eating there EVER again.
In closing, as we left the other couple left behind us, and she yelled something nasty out the door at them.
I asked the young man what happen in there and he said he had no clue, he did nothing to the waitress, she hit him and threw his food on the table, cursed out his friend, then kicked him as he left. Poor guy. And he still left a tip.
Its terrible how an establishment can be run like this.
If i knew the people that owned the place i would make sure this Idiot got fired. No one should be treated so badly.
We ended up eating at McDonald's.
Pros: None what so ever
Cons: Some of the waitstaff, just utter and complete shit.
