Reedville Catering

I have been a long time Reedville Cafe/Catering Customer, and I to had some reservations when I heard that the former chef had left, however I found the food to be better, now it has FLAVOR! The previous chefs meat and taters approach worked some of the time but there is a great big new world of flavor out there! I recently had Reedville Catering do my daughters wedding, everything from the initial meeting with the planner to the tasting they put together and then the final meal went flawlessly, I have recieved numerous comments on how good the food and the presentation were. The chicken with the roasted pepper sauce was a standout. I have since been to a party catered by them and had a chance to have the spicy crab dip, and the beef skewered with the cucumber and red pepper (yummy!) I do not have any reservations about reccomending them to anyone. I used to love Reedville. Chef Tamara Leibfarth was excellent. Everything was always as ordered and on time as well as affordable. However a run-in with the Senior Event Planner who promised to cater a very important event and then backed out with much rudeness and not so much as a ""sorry I completely ruined your event"" caused me to stop using them. I see now that they have a new chef and their menus seem uninspired. I would hesitate to recommend to smaller groups or anyone out of the way. Reedville is only interested in catering big events now, even if you used to be a regular and loyal customer. more
