easily the nicest spot in this side of the city. Not the typical faneuil hall bar with drunk college kids. Its classy yet fun and not crazy priced. Same prices as all other bars on the block, they do a late night menu, have awesome djs and there service is always friendly. Very nice spot if your looking for something other than the typical faneuil hall irish pub. more

What an amazing sunday funday at red sky. A couple of us decided to meet up in fanueil hall, not knowing where to go, we decided to try redsky. We got there around 5:30ish to just grab some apps and drinks. What a nice surprise!! First off the apps were half priced from 4-6 and the drink menu was full of such a variety that I couldnt choose which drink i wanted, they all looked soooo good. We ended up getting the mussels and beef skewers. They were delicious and a huge portion plus half off the price! The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The drink menu was amazing ranging from drinks such as the key lime martini and raspberry mojito. We had such good service and loved the lounge area with the open windows, that we stayed for a while. There actually was a DJ that arrived and people kept pooring in. We ended up staying there pretty late and had a great sunday funday dancing to back in the day old school/hip hop music. The whole atmosphere was really fun and the service outdid the night! I would recommend going here, especially if you want a little sunday funday action more

What a nice surprise! I went to Red Sky this past weekend and had an amazing time. I wanted to show some friends around Boston and this place was great in all aspects. We were warmly greeted when we walked in, and sat down in a cozy booth surrounded by original, local art work. Our server was kind, efficient, and went above and beyond to make our experience one to remember. Service was fast, and the food was outstanding. We had the calamari, and mac and cheese for appetizers which were both mouth watering. We each got the filet, cooked to order, and it was delicious. We were going to go to other bars in the area after Red Sky, but we were having such a good time we decided to stay. The DJ was great, and some bachlorette parties came in so there was no shortage of hot women. Over all Red Sky has great food, service, and an authentic atmosphere that cannot be matched. I will definitely return! more

A couple of my girlfriends and I were looking for something different to do after work. One of my co-workers told me about red sky and there Tuesdays "ladies 80's". To say the least we made our reservations and had a blast. It was almost too good to be true, a three course meal for free with the purches of a ten dollar beverage. The meal was proportioned perfectly. Our waitress Korey was very attentive, looking around and seeing that she had many other tables she still made us feel like we were her only ones. I cant say enough about this place. I will be back and so wont my friends. more

If you are looking for a new hip place to relax and have a drink Red Sky is the place for you!! With its inviting ambiance, delicious variety of food, mouthwatering cocktails and not to mention Bostons sexiest bartenders and cocktail waitresses, why go anywhere else?!?! Out off all of the places in the area the staff at Red Sky gets an A+ for service! Drinks and food are brought out promptly and always with a smile :) One of the many perks about Red Sky is they serve food every night until 1am!!! So after drinking a few of their signature Red Sky Martini's ( my personal fave) and the late night hunger kicks in, order up few of their yummy apps!! Being a bit older for the norm in the area this is the only tolerable place around. Nice servers and bartenders, very varied menu and they serve food until 1am. Prices are fair for Boston and pours and portions are heafty. Music is different not your normal bar stuff. All in all do not waste your time anywhere else. There is also never a cover. Pros: music, menu, service Cons: Not more places like it around more

I went to Red Sky recently on a whim, and was disappointed to see that it was relatively empty inside (on a Friday night!) I ordered a drink that had little alcohol in it from a rude waitress. To make matters worse, while sitting at a high top with my girlfriends we saw a "rodent" enter the restaurant through the front because all the doors were opened. I wouldn't have cared except the place was rather small. Don't waste your time! Cons: rude staff, pest problem more

This is my first restaurant review - I have never felt compelled to comment on a dining experience until now. I work in the financial district and had been to Red Sky numerous times for cocktails, but never for dinner. My 3 friends and I went there last night and were blown away. We ordered artichoke dip for an appetizer, mac & cheese, chicken & brocolli ziti, sandwich wrap w/ fries and molten chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was literally melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Plus, the atmosphere is relaxing and our service was amazing (I felt like we were our waitress' only table - and we most definitely weren't!). You are missing out if you don't try Red Sky...I can't wait to go back. more

I'm a consultant in Boston and have to take my clients to an upscale but enjoyable place...this is it! I've never had people have such a good time. The food and drinks are great and the staff (owner HOT HOT HOT) is even better. I can?t say anything more than this is the place I go with clients to close a deal?great food, people, and drinks what more can you ask for!!!! Love this place!!! I work in the financial district and make the trek across faneuil hall at least twice if not 3 times a week to unwind and enjoy some great drinks and great food at a reasonable price. Some people thinks its pricey but its no worse than any other bar in the neighborhood and with Red Sky you get great atmosphere, great service, and great looking people unlike anywhere else. I have never had a bad experience their and probably won't ever go anywhere else. Its most definately worth looking in to you won't be dissapointed! I frequent Red Sky 2-3 times a week and each time I am in there I am always impressed by the atmosphere and vibe that is going on. This place always seems busy, wether its a tuesday for trivia or thursday afterwork. The music is great they play everything across the board and friday and sat nights there is no better place to here todays music mixed with old school tracks. The food is great and is presented like a fine dining establishment but is priced just the same as all the neighbors. The girls and guys that work there are always polite and attentive. I will not go to the same old bar scene on union street anymore. This is it! Pros: Music, staff, atmosphere! Cons: Not more bars like it! more

I was there for a birthday recently....and the male bartender really needs to re-learn some math skills because he definitely cannot count....once he charged me completely wrong and the 2nd time he gave me the wrong change....and when you order drinks he looks soooo annoyed...he just looks like he doesn't want to be there and he shouldn't definitely giving this place a bad name......i was definitely disappointed they need to fire this bartender........BAD SERVICE........... I LOVE THIS LOUNGE. To the squirrel, it is the freshly fallen jumbo sized nut. Red Sky is a refreshing addition to tired Fanieul Hall and its tired, overweight, slothful and clueless crowd. Friendly patrons that tend away from cargo pants and baseball hats. The decor is very forward. The crowd shows off a lot of hot guys and hot girls. The girls that work there are usually all hot and actually nice, which is unusual in Boston. When people classify Red Sky as upscale, this is best a reflection of the high earners that frequent the lounge. You see some great clothes, but never any attitude. I am pretty surprised by the overall friendliness. Red Sky magically sets a warm tone, with phenomenal DJ mixes at a palatable volume. If you want a healthy plate, go for the antipasto, which is generous, fresh and more like a mediterranean health plate. The grilled veggies are perfect, and the selections varied enough in size and style to suit a table filled with different tastes. Red Sky stocks top shelf booze in all categories, including single malt Scotch. (If they don't have any, I drank it all.) Red Sky knows how to treat its customers and regulars well, being run by two notable industry professionals. My only suggestion is that the TV's need closed-captioning. And soon! Pros: Warm, forward, chic, stylish, and cool. Peaceful and happy crowd. Cons: No closed captioning on TV's. Not enough hot male bartenders. more

Unlike the prior comment I too work in the area and frequent Red Sky at least twice a week. I have not yet encountered any "rude" servers or bartenders. Each time I sit at the bar or table I am attended to promptly and accordingly. I love the tapas menu especially the shrimp and the Lamb shank entree is rediculous! The guys and girls working there are great helping create a very comfortable relaxing environment. I'm sick of all the same local bars and boring crowds. This place is a nice change of pace! I recommend checking it out you won't be upset you did! Pros: Different crowd than most area places! more

I work in this area and have heard a lot about this place and wanted to check it out. I must say I don?t get the ?Highly Recommended? reviews at all? the place is OK but definitely not great. The bartender was very rude and was annoyed when my friend asked a question about one of the drinks. The bar was not crowded at all so I don?t understand why it took almost 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive. The food was just OK but not worth going back for. Service definitely needs work and the bartender needs to realize that when you treat people poorly your tip is going to reflect that. The poor service really affected our entire experience there. Been here a few times after work and love it!! They have a great selection of tapas and appetizers if your not that hungry and just want to nibble...Had great service all three times I've been there too!! They play cool music too!! It's a cool mix of rock and hip-hop...Lot's of fun!! Pros: atmosphere more

As for the ranking of 9.5 I couldn't agree more. I stopped in to try it out for the first time last night and from the moment I was met at the door by the hostess who was cute and friendly. I decided to sit at the bar, the bartenders were very polite and prompt to my needs. The food was tremendous and the presentation was second to none. There was live entertainment that was geared towards an older crowd that was being performed at audible levels so I was able to have a conversation. The atmosphere was very cool/trendy and the environment was clean and comfortable. The door guy was a gentleman upon arrival and departure I will be sure to frequent Red Sky more often! A big thumbs up! Pros: Location, drink list, service, people watching! more

I had read all the positive reviews about this bar, which I had shy'ed from for a while. I remember walking by the bar on a fri night about 8 months ago, and the doorman attempting to solicitate my brother and I to go in. I figured any bar that needed to ask passer-bys in would be nothing special, so I avoided it until last night. I must say, I'm not impressed at all. The atmosphere was good, but the bartender was snippy at best and not pleasing to deal with. Maybe she was having a bad night, but that should never be passed on to the customers. The food was decent, and there were a fair number of people inside, but after finishing the food I promptly left, quality of service is what makes or breaks a bar for me. Red Sky fell flat on it's face, and I will not return. Pros: Good crowd, Good music. Decent prices Cons: Terrible Service more

I live in the North End amongst several hundred restaurants and this new addition to the area competes if not tops most of them. The portion of food along with price accompanied by friendly service and attractive servers is second to none for the area. The bartenders are very professional and friendly. This place is busy just about every night. I use to frequent many different places throughout the course of the week trying to find a nice environment and now I don't have to. Red Sky is warm, inviting, and entertaining on many different levels. Ive made it my home away from home. I highly advise all to try it!
