Red Robin America's Gourmet Burgers & Spirits

Pros: The great thing about Red Robin is that it's both family-friendly and has good food. The burgers are amazing, and you can get some good salads, sandwiches, wraps, soups, desserts and more as well. The kids can enjoy milkshakes or lemonade. And everyone gets equally enthused about the food- it's pretty awesome. Prices are reasonable and portions are definitely large and filling. My kids love Red Robin because there are usually balloons to take home, and there are always crayons and coloring pages to keep them entertained. We like that the restaurant is busy enough and loud enough that our kids don't stand out, but big enough that the noise doesn't get overwhelming and we can still hear each other talk. At the Factoria Mall location, there is seating "outside" the restaurant, but still inside the mall. Also like the decor as there's lots of old items and novelties for kids to look at on the walls and ceilings. Cons: Would like to see more healthy options on the kids and adult menu. more

If you like a good burger (not fast food) on a scale of 1-10 I put Red Robin at a 7. The nice thing about it is the kid friendly atmosphere like: decor on wall and ceiling, crayons and activities, and noise factor of the place. Very friendly staff and quick service. more

The burgers here are good and the prices are pretty okay, ranging from $5-10. There is not much wait and the atmosphere is lively, young, and family-oriented. They do have a kids menu, crayons, and coloring placemats. Try ordering from the burger menu, but skip the pastas. Oh, and did I mention they have bottemless fries-the large potato wedge kind. more

Yeah, I know, it's a chain restaurant, but I like this place. The burgers are really good- my favorite is the Blue Ribbon Burger. It's good on as a veggie burger, too. Their other foods (sandwiches, pastas, etc.) aren't really anything that special, though I do like their salads. This place is kid-friendly... you get the usual kid stuff- crayons, a color-able placemat, and balloon (if you ask). Plus they've got a few video arcade games to occupy your kid before the meal actually arrives. They're generally pretty busy so try going just before or after traditional mealtimes. They used to give a huge free dessert (I think it was mud pie kind of thing) for people's birthdays but now they only give a small free one- bummer! They do still sing for you, though. more
