Not the best for seafood. 4/10/2006

We have tried Red Lobster three times since we moved here in 1996. Each time we were disappointed. The cheddar bread is very good. The service is OK. The problem is the quality of their seafood. It just isn't good. I ordered crab legs one visit. The crab legs were actually gray! I had to send them back. The new ones they brought were skinny and tasted dry. On another visit I order the shrimp meal. The shrimp scampi tasted like leather. My husband ordered the steak and lobster dinner and was disappointed in the lobster. The steak was OK. We will not be giving Red Lobster a fourth try. Shells is much better for seafood! more

Great restaurant 8/13/2005

While this restaurant would never be considered gourmet, we always leave full and satisfied. The food is nicely prepared and the cheddar bread is always freshly made and delivered to the table piping hot. We enjoy our meals here. I often only get an appetizer as my meal and leave fully satisfied. We love the crab fondue in sourdough so much that I recreate it at home. Only issue is that it is a bit loud. Not sure why it seems louder than other restaurants we frequent. All-in-all a nice place for a family seafood dinner. more
