It is more than just a taste of Italy. It is like my grandmother from Venice used to cook for us when we would go and visit her. The variety of fresh ingredients cooked on the spot, and the extensive use of vegetables and olive oil gives the essence of what real Italian food tastes like. The proficient service and natural ambience creates an experience that our family loves to enjoy rather frequently. We don't tell grandma, but the kids say ""We like this better than mima's, Daddy!"" Well worth the trip! 7/24/2003

One of the best Italian/pizza restaurants our family has ever visited (their McDowell Rd. facility, too). We've never been disappointed, having tried many menu items. Ambiance is simple, but workable. If you know TRUE ""New York"" style pizza but think you can't find it in the Valley, it's because you haven't tried Red Devil. We live in Scottsdale but travel 15 miles to visit this place, passing many Italian and pizza places along the way. Well worth the extra miles...but I wish they'd open one in Scottsdale, too!
