I went to Ray Skillman NE Mazda last weekend to look at the vehicle my husband suggested we purchase. After talking to Harry and investigating the car I needed I felt comfortable applying for the vehicle. I didn't feel pressured or annoyed, Harry was so friendly and fun. I had no problems giving them my keys for an estimate, and found they gave me a fair value for my trade in vehicle. Harry understood my needs and while we were discussing the details he encouraged me to look at my finances and make sure I was doing what was comfortable for me, which allowed me time to consider the offer. That ""no pressure"" tactic made a big difference, compared to another car dealership, which tried to pressure me into a car the weekend before! I am thrilled with my Mazda, and I know for a fact that it was the most affordable option for us, and it's brand new! I would recommend anyone stopping in at Ray Skillman talk to Harry for great service, and a positive attitude! more

We visited this dealership after being quoted a price for a vehicle meeting our specifications, over the phone. After driving 1.5 hours to the lot, we learned that the car we had been discussing did not exist and that the price we were quoted over the phone was now null and void. It was mentioned at this time that there were several cars in the area that met our specifications that they could get for us. We negotiated a price and were happy. more

Great people and solid selection of used cars 3/21/2007

Often times when you are working with car dealers, you kind of get this uneasy feeling that they aren't being 100% up front. I never got that feeling working with the people at Shadeland Dodge. I also happened to meet the owner, Kevin Beltz, and he seemed like a really nice and normal guy. Kind of made the normally not so nice experience of buying a car a lot nicer since they just seemed like good people. Pros: Nice people, good used car selection Cons: hard to turn left out of dealership onto Shadeland...be careful! more
