I started attending RFBC 5 weeks ago. This church is the first church that I have felt fed in, in many years. When my husband and I would pass by it, we both said that it looked too big to feel like home, and assumed because of the beauty of the building it would be a "name it and claim it church." We were wrong. Even though it appears to be huge, you don't feel like you are lost in a "sea of faces (shameless plug for Kutless)" Everything from large padded chairs to the color scheme makes you feel welcomed and relaxed.
The people have genuine love for each other. The church teaches, among other things, being humble and actively living for Jesus and this is reflected in its parishiners. In addition to all this, we went to our first show to see the HOPE FOR YOU puppet team which is one of the many ministry's of this church. The talent of those in the show just blew us away. It was on the level of a Broadway show, with a CLEAR Christian message. They go to other states, New York and New Oleans, a few times.
The pastor, Jeff Mann, is a humble man who seems to be generally concerned with each parishiners.
