Just had a crown placed over a year ago and was reassured at the time that it was under guarantee for 5 yrs.....well that is only good if you continue to live in the immediate area. I am now living in Florida and come to find out that a year later my crown is ""leaking"" and needs to be replaced. You would think that they would at least give back the money that came out of pocket after the insurance. If the dentist's work can't even hold up for one year it just seems to me that they would be more helpful with actually upholding the ""guarantee."" more

Run don't walk is absolutely how I feel about this office and team. Dr. Stokes is the BEST dentist I have seen in all of my years going to the dentist. Last time I was in, both he and Denis, his assistant, were so kind and caring....I completely forgot that I am a dental phobic!! The entire crew there is A+++ in my book!! If you are looking for a great dentist for you and your entire family, this place is it!!!! more

Being critical by nature, I'm not one to heap praise easily. I was blown away at the personal service and the professionalism of this office. I'm not timid, but then going to the dentist freaks me out. Still this office came highly recommended. So, in doing my due diligence, I went online and checked out reviews. There were some less than favorable reviews which made me a little uncomfortable. So, I picked up the phone and called them direct and just asked them about their office and services. To be honest, I wanted to get a feel for how they were. I expressed my concerns about the reviews and told them of my timidity with dentists. I spoke to the person who was responsible for the office and we actually had a great conversation. Still, I pressed on about the less than glorious reviews! ( I'm good at that! LOL ) . And what he informed me, was that they were under new office management and that maybe those other reviews were the result of simple misunderstandings that in no way reflect their current culture. I needed service bad because I was in pain and I needed an overhaul! They have done two root canals, four extractions ( would of been five extractions..but they were able to save a tooth even when another dentist said they needed to yank that sucker out! ) Dr. Stokes' work on my root canals and crowns were amazing! He is the epitome of what a dentist should be. Now, I have my ortho work done at this superb office with Dr. Webster and I am from the Los Angeles area! In closing, from the time you walk in the doors of Rainsprings Dental Group and Orthodontics, and up until the time you leave, there is no better personal and family friendly professionals. From the office staff and management, to the Doctors and assistants they are the GOLD standard! more

Going to the dentist isn't easy for everyone. I recently took my children in after I had been there myself. The staff and Dr. were very kind a courtious to the fact that my children were nervous, and treated us like famliy. They made my kids feel calm and comfortable. I felt that the service was very thorough and all my questions had been answered. Thanks Rainsprings Dental more

I was so interested in reading some of the past reviews. My experience there was nothing of the sort. The front staff was very friendly upon arrival. The waiting room was open and CLEAN. The lady at the front desk even updated me on how quickly the dentist would be with me, that was impressive considering most just keep you waiting. Also, I felt like the dentist as well as the staff did an excellent job as to informing me as to what would be done and expenses due. I even had a couple of questions after, and the dentist explained in further detail as to how and what was being done. I left feeling completely confident in what had been done and haven't had any issues regarding billing. I will definately be back and will most definately recommend him to my friends and family.... more

I am so glad and relieved that I'm not the only way that feels that this dental office is bad. First off, going to the dentist isn't the most pleasant experience to go through and going to this office made it worse. I had a huge cavity on one of my teeth and had to use a different kind of filling that wasn't a regular one. A year and a half later my tooth cracks and breaks where this filling was done! And this procedure was NOT CHEAP. So now I have to get this repaired after paying a huge out of pocket expense for this piece of sh*t. \r \r My biggest annoyance with this place is when I was told I needed to get a crown replaced. So I decided I should go ahead and replace it with the impression that my insurance should cover it and the remaining balance would be placed on a credit card. This turned out to be incorrect. 3 months later I received a bill for 500 dollars in addition to what I had to charge on my card! I went as a first patient only because it was close to me. I went in and was informed I had several fillings on both sides of my mouth, either new cavities and fixing old fillings. Now I wonder if I really needed all that work! Anyway I elected to have it all done at once to get it over with. After the cleaning I was given a sheet that my costs after insurance would be $109.00for the 5 filings (thats about right based on my co-pay). I had the work done and my whole mouth was frozen so I couldn't talk. They took my card and ran it for $214!?!?!!??! I went home and called back when I could finally talk. The office staff said they would research it...of course NEVER got back to me. I finally raised a stink and they said the charges were correct even though I had a sheet from them saying $109. The said they would refund the difference in the form of a check as a courtesy???!!! but I NEVER got it!!! I was so disgusted. After I tried to inquire about the check later they act like they have no idea what I am talking about. There is nothing I can do other then NEVER go back and warn other people that they overcharge and lie. My new dentist even looked a little stern at the ""work"" the dentist did but didn't want to be unprofessional and bad mouth another dentist!!! stay far far away!!! I was just on my way to the dental office for a routine cleaning. On all previous appointments, I have been very prompt, however this time, I was running late. Since I am involved in a big project at work, it was tough leaving work to get there, but I did it. I got a call along the way stating that since I was 7 minutes late (exact words), i would have to reschedule. I told the person that I was down the street. Well, frankly, this was the last straw and I knew I shouldn't be going back to this dentist again anyway. Why? Because I originally went there ot fix a front veneer that had broken because I bit down on a shell after over 18 years of being there. The veneer that the dentist put on came off in 3 months. He replaced it, after about 2 weeks of waiting, would not put on a temporary, and charged me for expiditing the replacement. His office even had me sign something when they replaced it which charged my insurance company for an x-ray they never took. That veneer stayed on for 2 months. Both of these veneers fell off when I was eating something soft! Again, I had to wait, no temporary, walking around with an ugly tooth. He replace it again, again it doesn't match the other teeth, but what the heck...let's hope it stays in. Also, on a previous cleaning visit, the hygenist almost convinced me to let her put some drug into my gums to prevent gum disease. Then I found out it was going to cost me over $500 out of pocket! They told me that if they ""wrote it up right"", the insurance company may reimburse me for part of that. No thank you...I'll go elsewhere! Pros: Very good dental assistant. Stay away. Useless font desk staff, billing rip-off. They would make you sign dental care plan/cost midway through the procedure - when you probably are in pain or disoriented by anesthesia. Receipt is non-itemized and they can't work details if you have questions or issues about charges. Overcharged first time, and I am still working it after 4 months - it's like you pay and also get homework (bonus). Paid ALL out of pocket (copay and coinsurance) upfront. Additionally, insurance paid all claims so far. However, I still get bills. This one is good for you only if you: 1) Don't mind paying whatever they ask for, 2) have an insurance that pays every claim 100% without questioning procedure and claim amount, 3) don't have copay or coinsurance - no out of pocket expense. Otherwise stay away and spare yourself protracted headache. Can't rate zero. Cons: bad staff, bad billing, bad practices more
