The best Cajun food in L. A. 2/18/2005

Never understand why Cajun food just doesnt taste the same once it left the vicinity of Lafayette, LA. Who knows?! Perhaps the secret ingredient lies in the local water. However, if you were craving for authentic Cajun food in L. A., your best bet would be the Ragin Cajun. Its not quite 100%, but thats as close as you can get in this town. Very disappointed more

cajun done right!! 2/1/2005

jambalaya? gumbo? can't decide, get both!! ragin cajun allows you to combine their staple favorites to have both in generous proportions. the ambiance feels like the south with the cajun feel. the wait staff is very friendly and helpful. the food is great, if it's not spicy enough for you, they've got plenty of different hot sauces and peppers to kick it up. great place for casual dining and or lunch with your coworkers. Pros: price, casual feel Cons: meter parking more
