Absolutely Amazing!!! 2/23/2008

Regardless of what these other reviews might say, Radijazz Playnasium is the most amazing indoor playscape my children and I have ever visited! The staff is kind, thoughtful, attentive, and most of all, fun. If it is a slow day, they are more than ready to jump in to play and make all of us feel welcome. In today's tough and rather quick-paced world, it is nice to have a place to bring my boys where they can have fun and socialize with other young children around their age, while I get the chance to sit down and relax. Far too many parents may forget what it is like to be a kid, and might forget that children are brimming with creativity and imagination. Radijazz Playnasium gives these children the opportunity to expand and explore these facets of personality, while also providing them with a safe and fun environment. A complete 10/10. I look forward to the possibility of your children having as much fun there as my boys do every day. more

Today my son kicked over part of a wall of blocks and was reprimanded by the staff who told him that it "wasn't nice" and that "kids worked hard on that". For toddlers knocking over blocks is par for course. He just learned to walk and that he's a person, so abstract concepts like other kids and "nice" were oblivious to him. He's 20 months old... I appreciate that the staff think that toddlers can handle abstract concepts, but unless you want your toddler bullied by an adult, stay away! We won't be returning... more

This place is fantastic!! 5/28/2007

My kiddos have been there twice (first time with Grandma and second with me) and are looking forward to their next visit. The play areas are cushioned and practically injury-proof. I believe the children who were not supervised by their parent(s) or guardian, were likely cause of accidents. PARENTS: Your children can have fun and learn common courtesy at the same time; YOU just HAVE TO TEACH THEM! I would venture to say that this place makes (heat, rain, allergy exposed, and germ-infested) outdoor playgrounds nearly obsolete. Additionally, it is quite affordable; even for families with two or more children. We will be back... ;> more

Radijazz Playnasium 4/14/2006

I was not overly impressed with the supervision by the parents or the staff during our visit to this place. I felt that there were situations that could have been avoided had a parent been paying more attention and had staff members made the parents more accountable for their childrens actions. This place can be fun and the children have a great time, but it can also get wild and out of hand if the children are not being monitored very well. Luckily this place is quite a drive for us and my children don't think to ask about it often because I do not think my blood pressure could stomach going there again. I was worried my children would get hurt constantly. more

Radijazz 3/26/2006

I sincerely hope that whoever thought this place up is getting rich. It's the perfect place to escape from the Texas floods or heat and let the kids get their "wompeys" out. During school vacations the crowds can actually be overwhelming, especially for younger children, but the padded environment helps cushion the falls and keep everyone safe. The music is an inspired mix of kids' music and 80s pop, and free coffee for the grownups is a big plus. You have to wonder how clean the place is, and some of the foam blocks in the "volcano" have seen better days. Still, we love it and will keep going back for more. more

Great place to let young kids run wild. 3/24/2006

I absolutely love radijazz when my boys are driving me crazy. this is the perfect place to take them to let out some of that energy. This is an indoor playground that's fully carpeted, it has three different areas for your child to play on. It is absolutely great in extreme weather when going to the playground is kind of out of the question or a major inconvenience. It's air conditioned in the summer and heated during the winter so the climate is always perfect. It's good to note that this playnasium is mostly for children under seven; however they do welcome older children when accompanied by a child younger than seven. more

Indoor Playland 10/31/2005

What a great place to take your kids when it's too hot or rainy outside! This is the best indoor playground in Austin. Thank you Caleb for opening such a wonderful place close to downtown! Seems as though all the kids parks are way up north in Round Rock or such. Jump in a lava pit, climb a volcano, row a boat, slide down a waterfall, or jump on a goose or alligator. And that is only the beginning! Let your child's imagination soar while they're getting a ton of exercise! They do charge a fee ($5/kid, parents free), but are totally worth it! If you live close enough, I highly recommend a membership. more

Will wear your kids out.... 9/23/2005

which is wonderful, since they will take a great nap, when you get home! My 3 yr old and 1 yr old love going to Radijazz. I can sit and chat with a friend, while they play. It feels like a break for me! My kids stay entertained the whole time, and we don't have to be outside in the Austin heat. We take our own lunches and make a day (ok, morning) out of it. more

Have fun and get out of the heat 8/20/2005

Radijazz is a great indoor playnasium. The kids can run around and jump into the foam volcano or ride little cars back and forth. You can play in the indoor playscape and when the kiddos get tired you can take a rest at one of the many tables available and enjoy your lunch that you can bring with you or buy from the vending machines. This is a great hit with the kids when going outside is just too hot!! more

Gym for Babies and Small Children 8/19/2005

Radijazz Playnasium is a great place for toddlers and small children to have fun and exercise. It has different play areas, slides, and various levels including the tubular gym. It is a great place for toddlers, and small children to exercise, and have fun. Parents can also have inexpensive birthday parties here, bringing their own cakes, drinks, and party favors. more

Great Time for small kids 8/5/2005

I discovered Radijazz about a year ago and have loved to take my son ever since. They have a softscape indoor play area, including a huge foam pit to jump into, and climbing tubes for older kids. I like that only 7 yrs and under kids are allowed, since kids can get pretty rough. I do not think their security at the door is adequate though. They don't have any sort of gate, or adult to control who leaves with who. more

Air Conditioned Fun!!!! 8/1/2005

This is another great place to take your kids when it is too hot outside or rainy. There is so much for them to do. The flooring is cushioned so it is very safe. They have a pretend lava pit to crawl in, a playscape/maze, soft foamy animals to crawl on, and more. I like that you only have to pay an entrance fee for the child and they have free Starbucks coffee for the adults. It is also a great place to have a birthday party. more
