RFT Property Maintenance

RFT services formerly RFT property maintenance (look up RFT property maintenance reviews), was sent by the pool company to build our pool. Justin started the job by not listening to anything, he dug in the wrong location, digging up the entire drain field for the septic system, why he didn’t stop when he hit the first pipe still baffles everyone. Then he demanded $2000 from us to move the pool to where the site plan said it was to go. When we spoke with the pool company and reminded them that our contract was with them not RFT, they made Justin move it. He then proceeded to cut every corner imaginable and ultimately failed code inspections. He tried to tell the inspector it was our fault he failed, but the inspector told us RFT has a history and reputation of this type of work. The pool company ended up having to remove RFT from the job and brought in another subcontractor with 20+ years of pool building experience. The new contractor had to rework everything RFT did, as they found flaws in every step, it took them 3 weeks just to correct RFT’s doings. If your pool company is sending RFT to your house, I recommend asking for a different contractor. Justin talks a good game, but he spends all his time on the phone while working on your pool, when he makes mistakes due to his lack of focus, he’ll blame you and become belligerent. more

Beware of RFT Maintenance, RTF Services, or any of Justin Reimold's other business names. What you read is not wrong and 100% accurate. There is a great difference between knowing about something and understanding it. Justin Knows enough to be a good talker, he doesn't understand enough to be a good contractor. If your pool company uses RFT as their sub, don't sign the contract. more

this arrogant a** installed our pool 3 years ago. He tore the liner around the return while tightening and put some God awful ugly homemade gasket thing around it and considered it fixed. Now, 2 years later, from it constantly leaking between the pool wall and liner, our pool has rusted and has a whole in the pool wall. Pool was also not installed level and we were told that he would order (and that we paid for) all the water we needed in advance of the install. When the pool was completed he had only ordered enough to fill half way and filled the rest USING OUR WELL! When he did eventually come back to install his homemade gasket ring, he drained the pool half way to install and refused to pay for the water to refill. He better NEVER show up on my property again! more

If you are looking to buy a pool from a pool store and they tell you that RFT is its pool installer, either buy your pool elsewhere or hire your own pool installer. Listen to the other reviewers and do not allow RFT to get anywhere near your property. more

RFT put a pool in for us in June 2012. 1/2 in and 1/2 above ground. Up against a bank. The next year we reported loosing water the end of June 2013. Everyone at the pool place where we bought pool just kept saying add water. The heat will evaporate the water. We have a well and almost ran it dry. We had sediment for 2 wks. in our water. the Middle of July the pool collapsed in 2 places. We contacted the pool installer and he came out after much tado. He had his mind made up that it is not his problem when he finally came. And just Frankly stated so. We had to Hire another Pool company to build us another pool and we footed the whole bill. Attorney General's Office and BBB would not do anything. Just pass letters back and forth and Justin Reimold imfactly said he will not do anything that it is our problem. The Man has to have insurance and it would have been so easy for him to file a claim but he just blew us off. He should go out of business. BE ware of having him install any pool that you buy from Artisian. more

Unreliable and poor business practice. We installed an inground pool with this company this year and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. Now we are left with a pool that is less than 3 months old with several issues. more
