Quo Night Club

They charge $25 at the door even if there is a guest list. I don't recommend this place when you have a group or just want to go grab drinks. They are extremely rude at the door, won't give anyone a second of their time. There are billions of better places in the city, I say save yourself the grief and skip this place. If you are willing to pay the cover go to meat packing. more

There are plenty of bad reviews below so I will be brief. The place is small and way too crowded. Everyone who works there is rude and greedy. I also paid $100 for open bar and felt absolutely ripped off when I had to wait for 30 mins to get a drink only to have the snotty bartender demand a $20 tip. I could go on and on about this place but it was so bad that it does not even deserve my time. DO NOT EVER GO HERE! Pros: the drinks were strong Cons: everything else more

i bought a general admission ticket for the NYE celebration and the only good part of the night was that i was surrounded by friends. got there at 9:30 and didn't get in til 10:30. we had to wait in the freezing cold until we couldnt feel our toes and fingers. the line to get in was so long because the coat check line was being held up by incompetent workers. the layout is weird and inconvenient for pretty much everyone. the place itself is tiny for the amount of people that were there. it was packed to the brim, there was hardly any space to move around. there is ONE bar with THREE bartenders for the entire crowd, so getting a drink takes about 20 minutes. my experience wasn't so bad because i had fun with my friends. but when i tried to leave, it got worse. i waited an hour to get my coat because people were cutting the line at the front and no workers were there to help regulate, so we had to do it. while waiting in line, we got pushed to the wall several times because bouncers kept throwing people out. it was pretty much a madhouse the entire night. all in all, the place is VERY disorganized and understaffed. the layout is terrible and there were too many people. i have no intention on returning here and no desire to go out on nye anymore. thanks prime, you are worthless. Just went there for NYE2009 and the only redeeming part of the evening was that I was with my friends. There was a huge line just to get in. And the reason for the wait? Coat check! Had to wait an hour to get in...then had to wait another 30min for coat check, which was another $5. I think you could pay the bouncer $50 to get to the front of the line, but that's not worth it. Bartendars wouldn't serve unless you had money in your hands. Also, the layout was bad. The DJ booth was in the center of the place, making the dancefloor really small, and making it hard to get to the bar...located at the very back of the club. It was way too crowded. I left at 1:30 because my friends and I couldn't take it anymore...BUT, we had to wait in line for coat check agian just to leave! People kept cutting in line and pushing other around. Staff was incompetent and rude...along with most of the people in attendance. I understand lines are frustrating, but taking it out on each other is not going to help. I saw a girl slip and fall in the bathroom because the floors were so wet...and she demanded to speak to the manager...not sure if that will actually help. DO NOT GO TO PRIME! Also, when you see a review that says how much fun someone had at a club/getting their tickets through Joonbug, disregard it. I see that same post of pretty much every club. It's probably posted by the people who work at Joonbug! Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere for NYE. Prime is not worth a single penny! I can't even explain how AWFUL this place was. I wish I could give it NEGATIVE stars. I paid $100 for an open bar NYE ticket. They obviously over sold tickets to the club to pack as many people in as possible. Don't get me wrong, I have been in crowded clubs on NYE before, but this was RIDICULOUS for what the space was!!! Note to the owners and bartenders... open bar means you get ALL the drinks you want. you should not have to tip a bartender $20 to get one drink! The bartenders would come nowhere near you unless you flashed at 10 or $0 at them. It also took 30 minutes to get a drink from the rude, money grubbing bartenders. I also did not pay $100 to stand in a line outside the club for an hour and get hassled by greedy bouncers trying to "bump" me up to VIP for $100 more dollars. Even the VIP ticket holders had to wait 30 min to get into the club! The line was long because the coat check line was backed up. They shouldn't have even been charging for coat check because it was included in the ticket! Did I also mention that I stood in line for 35min for the bathroom? Yes, I know ladies restrooms are always crowded and there is usually a line, but I have never waited that long! All the girls waiting in line were also pushed and verbally insulted by club employees. Tis place was horrible, and definitely not worth the 100 dollar open bar ticket for new years. The lines were ridiculous and no one was even in the club when we got in. The staff was absolutely rude to everyone. The packed the place in way over capacity and they needed bouncers blocking the bathrooms just to get in. The bartenders would not even give you a drink, literally standing there waiting for you to flash $20 in their face for one single drink while there were 100's of people waiting for a drink. We waited 30 minutes for just one drink. The bouncer dragged some girl out of the bar and broke her ankle in the process and needed to call EMS. Would not recommend this place to anyone..there are way better clubs around. And the place was pretty small compared to pictures we saw online. People with VIP and bar service also needed to wait about an hour just to get in. Pros: Decent music, strong drinks Cons: Horrible horrible service more

apparently exoticbeauty is an idiot. Who goes to an NYC club at 11pm when it goes. This spot is packed every friday night with over 800 people in the front and back room. Yeah, its a late crowd.. its get poppin' at 1am. Thats the best time to go to any club in New York. See for yourself. Pros: DJs change every friday, great mix. Cool Crowd. Nice Spot. dont go early.. show up after midnight!! thats the best time Cons: nothing!! more

Ughhh not a good place to go. First off I went on a Friday night and it was EMPTY!! until 1 a.m. when we left it was a still empty. there were five ppl inside. the ppl who work there are not so nice. and the space is not so appealing. its dreary. i would not recommend it because there is nothing special about it. They should shut it down, rename it and do some major marketing/promotion for it. Pros: None I can think of Cons: empty, ugly, blahhh more

I went to Prime on a friday night. I am a part time female promoter. This was exactly my frist time going to this place. I had a blast!. The people were friendly...not just the staff but the crowd as well. The Dj was awesome! It is a nice size club. I dont think it is easy to get into this club. I did not see people who were not dressed to impress inside...which means they have a particular look that they perfer to have. I had drinks and they were NOT in plastic cups..but umm...actual glasses. I highly recomment this place for those who are looking to have a good time. My girlfriends went there on a Saturday night. We did the bottle think and had no issues with the door. They were friendly and happy to have a group of girls doing bottle service. The staff was great and took care of us the entire night. The DJ was great, we had a great time with the music and danced most of the night. The downside was the crowd. No wonder it was so easy to get in, it was the worst B&T I have ever seen. Every guy had the gold chains, you had the guys with the all white baseball hat turned sideways. The girls were just as bad, I won?t even go there but at one point my girlfriend and I were convinced someone was wearing Spanx as her pants. It was just down right cheesy! Located where Myst and Retox used to be and it's no wonder why they got shut down! I went there for my 21st birthday with 15 of my closest friends after reserving a bottle and table. We waited for 2 and a half hours finally got the ticket at 2:30 and there were no tables left. The management doesn't know what they are doing there and the crowd sucked, the place was too small. I would have had a better time at some dumpy bar without a table and bottle. They serve there drinks in cheap 1$ plastic diner cups. I'll never go here again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. That's the attitude you have to have when you go here. Like a previous poster stated, the door staff is friendly, especially so if you're buying bottles. The music is mixed, really, across the board - everyone's going to hear something they like during the night. It's not the type of place to sit and "look at the pretty people".. it's the type of place go and just have a blast. Of course you're going to get some B&T attitude, but if you expect anything less at a club in this area then you'll be disappointed anywhere. If you have an "F it, i'm out to party" attitude you'll have fun here. I just want to make a few comments about the experience at Prime. -the music was not inspiring, didnt make you want to relax or get up and dance -we were in the vip area and had bottle service, yet still seemed to be treated like second-class-citizens, both by the service and fellow vip patrons. everyone thought they were way cooler than reality would dictate. the plus here was that we had no trouble at the door, were let right in and rushed in the exit door. aside from that, the service was mediocre and inexperienced. -the crowd was unattractive and sleazy. there was absolutely no one compelling, intelligent or good looking enough to meet or groove with. -a memeber of my party had her phone stolen from her, and the staff literally refused to help her; after that, we pretty much left with a thoroughly bad taste in our mouths.
