Hey, who are we kidding? You seldom have any choice on where you go to see your favorite bands. You just suck it up, pay your dough, and see 'em where-ever they play.

world class acts 12/29/2005

Few people know that Minneapolis is a breeding ground for big acts. If you're an inspiring musician, the Quest is an excellent choice. Just want to see a national tour, come here! Bands such as Underoath, Thrice, John Mayer, Hawthorne Heights, and many others have stormed the Quest. It is the haven for mainstream alternative acts. more

Quest 8/31/2005

Quest is one of my favorite night clubs – not because of the names they draw, but because of the bands that play there regularly. This club usually has pretty nice crowd (to my taste, at least), and I do like the layout. A little while ago the club had its floors redone – very nice, especially if you feel like dancing. Staff is not rude and parking is pretty convenient. I’ll keep coming back. more

Decent music venue 8/19/2005

The Quest club is a pretty decent music venue in Minneapolis. While they are able to draw some big names, my impression is that their lineup is generally small-name bands. They also deal exclusively with Ticketmaster, which means that your concert ticket will cost twice as much as it should. If a band you like is playing, go ahead and visit the Quest, but I wouldn't make any special effort. more
