It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

The hot breakfast was more than we expected. 8/11/2010

The room was adequate and clean. We stayed in an exterior room, upstairs. The pool was GREAT with an actual deep end. There is also an aging hot tub but it was still nice. The hot breakfast was more than we expected. more

Late arrival after Elton John. Gal at counter was extremely pleasant. Nice quiet little gatherings here and there after hours that was a plus. Pool water and area very clean more

The staff were awsome! 7/21/2010

We extended our stay and the staff notified us of a cancellation so we wouldn't have to change hotels. For our purposes, the setup was great - it was a rainy visit, but having the indoor pool area gave us space to walk around and get out of our room. Played cribbage at one of the conversation groups in the atrium area. Very convenient to Mizzou. Glad we chose this hotel - when I think about it the staff actually is what made the trip - they were awesome! more

All in all my experience was very pleasant 7/20/2010

The Continental Breakfast was fabulous. The bacon, eggs, biscuits & gravy put 3 extra pounds on me. Good thing I didn't eat the pastries, bagels and cereal they had. more

The indoor pool is of good size & the atrium is gorgous. There are video games for the kids and a pool table. There is also a nice little bar more

The lobby was very inviting 7/13/2010

I walked in the front door and immediatly I knew I had worried for no reason. The lobby was very inviting and the lady at the front desk was just as nice as one could be. I told her that I was in town to surprise someone who was graduating in Ashland and I wasn't sure how to get there. She pulled out a map and highlighted it for me and said I would have no trouble. After getting my room keys I was feeling pretty safe and content with my choice of hotel. Which was a good thing, since I would be staying for 3 nights. more

I have yet to be disappointed. The staff is what makes this hotel more like a home. Julie at the front desk is a pleasure to deal with and the owner is a hoot! The rooms are adequete and the pool area is lovely. The lounge at the hotel rarely disappoints. The only disappointment I have is that the guy that used to make the place tick, I believe his name was John, has left...I'm sure onto better things. Even though, this hotel is the best deal in town and I recommend to all who pass through Columbia and want to feel like they are at an old freinds house. more
