We stayed at this Quality Inn just passing through Columbia on the interstate, so I cannot speak to it's convenience if one is visiting Columbia; however, it is an easy on-and-off to the interstate.\r \r The hotel is older, as others have stated in their reviews, but everything was clean and the service was friendly. The pool area, around which the rooms are centered, looked very nice for someone making a longer stay.\r \r All in all, would definitely recommend, particularly through a passer-through. It has all that you need for a restful night on the road and a good price to match. more

My sister and I met there, it is half way between St. Louis and KC, as we each live in one city. The hotel is in a great spot, easy to find. The rooms are older, true, as someone else commented. The heating system could be updated, but it was CLEAN, the linens and room and the beds were all comfortable...but what makes the hotel is the staff. They really bent over backwards to make us comfortable, and I saw them doing the same for others too, not just us. We all know you can spend a ton more and stay somewhere shwanky, but that wasn't my goal, a nice place to visit my sis and my dog came with. Jamie at the front desk was so helpful, and the room was just what we needed. Next time we go, we are getting a bigger room and staying longer. thank you Quality Inn for a nice place that didnt break our budget and gave us a great spot to visit my sis. more

Had opportunity to stay over the weekend. In-door pool is the main attraction. You can relax in the indoor pool and hot tub. It has a small bar where the drinks are very inexpensive. Don't have to worry about driving after a few drinks purchased at a low price. While you relax on the sofa sitting in the huge dome, kids can freely run around and play. Property looks a bit old but it appears it is extensively remodeled. Room furniture and bedding looked relatively new. Very clean bath sink and vanity. Hot free breakfast is way better than many restaurants. Choice of several hot and cold beverage. Staff is friendly too. Definitely will stay there next time I am in or around mid-Missouri. Strongly recommend. more

The rooms themselves were excellent and even had a fridge and microwave in there. The most pleasantly surprising part was the full bar located in the hotel. Few places anymore have both an indoor pool and a bar inside. I was staying for a week or so to visit some family and was thoroughly impressed with the staff and the set-up of the hotel itself. Dave the bartender was a real treat and I visited him several nights that I was there. He was fun to talk to and made some darn good drinks. And did I mention the free full breakfast!? I'll definitely be staying at the Quality Inn the next time I come to Columbia. more

we stayed at this motel on our way to wichita very nice pool scene very nice for families with small children the pool goes from wading to 5ft & it was actually heated.the breakfast was really good the room was nice with micro & fridge. the staff was really nice & polite it was so nice we stopped on our way back home from wichita. when leaving housekeeping was opening a box with all new pillows & pillow covers this motel is really taken really good care of.did not dislike anything at this motel. more

I visit this hotel often as I travel through Missouri. I have yet to be disappointed. The staff is what makes this hotel more like a home. Julie at the front desk is a pleasure to deal with and the owner is a hoot! The rooms are adequete and the pool area is lovely. The lounge at the hotel rarely disappoints. The only disappointment I have is that the guy that used to make the place tick, I believe his name was John, has left...I'm sure onto better things. Even though, this hotel is the best deal in town and I recommend to all who pass through Columbia and want to feel like they are at an old freinds house. more

The staff is friendly and accommodating. They keep your room very clean, with fresh towels every day. Many TV channels. Very close to a lot of interesting places, like shopping in downtown Columbia and the University of Missouri. Only bad things I would say are that the rooms are pitch dark inside when the blinds are closed and the bathroom is kind of small. But I had a very pleasant experience. I would stay here again. more

We stayed here for a week while in town for our son's graduation. We had a pool view and it was wonderful! We often had the pool/jacuzzi/sauna to ourselves. The breakfasts were great: biscuits/gravy, scrambled and boiled eggs, sausage or bacon, pastries, yogurt, fruit, et. There was a pool table and some arcade games.\r Staff was friendly. We were within walking distance of downtown and my son's college. He and his wife ended up staying more with us than at their apt.\r Free internet, fridge and microwave,great stay! more

Stayed at a hotel right behind this one and it was a DUMP! Moved to this one night 2 of the stay and was very impressed by the inside and the facilities. Had a indoor pool, sauna, hot tub and the rooms were very clean. Front desk was very nice and gave us a much needed late check out without any hassles. Would recommend. Also, stayed again one other night on a return trip to Columbia, had a great experience.... great for the price. NO Americas Best value Center, what a dump... more

We needed a good place to crash and relax after a grueling week, difficult flight, and 7 hours driving back the next day. This fit the bill. Indoor pool and nice, hot hot tub. Easy Internet access. Comfy king bed for me and hubby. Free breakfast buffet seemed boring and bland to me, coffe was pretty ordinary, but it had real scrambled eggs and was a cut above the usual for this sort of thing. No really great places to walk to, but no place is perfect. Very reasonable price. Had rooms when a lot of other spots didn't. Bottom line- we''ll stay again. Thanks, QI! more

I was very impressed witht his hotel and its staff. I was greeted expediently and very friendly by the front desk person. She had great knowledge of the hotel and offered a fresh baked cookie after I checked in. The dome area with the pool, hot tub, breakfast nook, arcade with foosball, waterfall, and big comfy chairs was perfect. Big and very well-kept. I figured the chlorine smell would be overwhelming, but it definitely was not. Even in our room, which was facing the pool area. We couldn't even tell there was a pool nearby. The only issue with our room was the fact that the windows faced inside - this just makes me uncomfortable and I really like natural sunlight. Other than this, the room was perfect. AC worked fantastically, bed was super comfy. The hot tub was a little small, but hot, and the foosball table wasn't the cheap kind. We called for a later check out in the morning, and the lady we talked to was incredibly nice, explaining the keys deactivate at 11am, so if we leave and come back, we just need to go to the front desk and get them reset. Very friendly and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. more

We had a great stay at the Quality Inn in Columbia, mo. Of the hotels this was by far the best experience my family had in a 2 week vacation. Actually my youngest asked if we could move to Columbia and live in the Hotel. The staff was great, and it started in a weird way. My family and I were swimming in their great pool. But a man was swimming with us and talking to us and was concerned and asking question that would make you think WHO is this guy? Nothing bad just, concerned about our stay and room and thing. By a person that is swimming in the pool with you. Come to find out, he was a part owner of the Hotel from CA. In for a couple weeks to checked out how thing were going. For me, as a teacher, ""this is like my Superintendent coming and eat lunch with me."" Something you never see, but in great schools and people that really care. So I respect what he was doing. Great place to sat and I plan to comeback and bring my Track team for meets in Columbia, And we WILL STAY HERE! more

Our family stayed New Years Eve and had a blast! The location is great, close to downtown and Mizzou. The kids had a blast at the pool which was very clean. The service and staff was great. Check in was fast and the clerk at the front was very helpful and nice. The bar was a lot of fun with some great dring specials. We had a full breakfast in the morning which was surprisingly delicious. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. Can't beat the price either. Very reasonable. We would stay there again for sure! more

I had a chance to stay at Quality Inn in columbia,MO because my husband was undercare at veterans hospital for bypass surgery.During this time my husband was in ICU and i was under a great deal of stress. Quality inn staff was morally very supportive and Angie the night auditor even gave me cheerful company till about 3:00 A.M. on New Year's eve. My two children who are 9 and 16 in age were with me during this 3 day ordeal with me and boy i was greatful that my children had a clean pool,video arcade and jacuzzi etc. to relax with in their wonderful dome. I wish to thank Quality Inn staff in making a very difficult time in my life a little easier. more
