Bueno food 4/16/2006

My favorite thing to order at Qdoba is their chicken burrito. The thing is huge!!! It definitely fills me up. Qdoba is a great restaurant for my family: my wife is a very picky eater of Mexican food. At Qdoba she can watch how they make her quesadillas and tell them what to put (or not put) on her quesadilla. The kids menu is not big, but it is priced reasonably. The food is very tasty. Service has always been quick and friendly. more

Excellent Food On The Go 4/13/2006

You wouldn't think a burritto is a great "on the go" food, but I like to go get these on my lunch break sometimes and bring them back to work. I wouldnt try eating them in the car, but when you're in a rush they taste great hot, and still taste great when they start to cool down unlike burgers or otehr "fast food" type of meals, which is what i think makes them good for on the go eating. more

Burrittos...the size of your head 4/12/2006

Qudoba has some of the largest burrittos I have ever seen. A friend and I went here for lunch and I was dining on my chicken burritto for thenest three meals I ate. One burritto is pretty expensive in my opinion, but not if you look at how many meals I got out of it. in taht respect it is a reasonably cost effective meal. If you've never been to a Qudoba they are well worth a trip just to see what they have to offer, its usually somehting tasty. more

Feels lighter than other similar restaurants 4/9/2006

Qdoba is my favorite of the local Baja Burrito/Cosmic Cantina/Moe's/Qdoba type restaurants that you can find in Raleigh (my favorite period is Chipotle, but it's not available locally). Why do I prefer it? They offer "lighter" fare. I'm not sure if it's lighter in terms of calories, but they actually have fajita burrito options available (skip the beans, and get veggies instead) and the cilantro lime rice just doesn't seem as heavy. The portions are really generous, and I've never been charged extra for asking for both sour cream and cheese (athem, Moe's). You can find $5 meal coupons in coupon circulars and books across Raleigh (any entree and drink for $5 + tax), and the student ID discount is a free drink. You don't get chips with your meal, but I honestly couldn't imagine being able to eat one after finishing one of the burritos. more
