Pure Spa

My recent massage was spoiled by the loud conversation in the treatment room next to mine. I asked my masseuse if she could knock on their door and ask them to be more considerate, but she said she was afraid she would get in trouble. So, instead of having a calm, serene atmosphere which is a reasonable expectation during a massage, I left upset and stressed. No compensation was offered when I told the receptionist about my unsatisfactory experience, just an apology. I canceled my next appointment and won't be back. more

Had a lovely quality pedicure with the exception of the overwhelming feeling of insincere customer service. I like people to be genuine with me, especially when you go somewhere to relax. more

SO yes, its beautiful and relaxing and soothing...everything you want to see in a spa. The service providers are highly skilled. However, the overall experience was seriously lacking in personality. I know this is just me, and that others enjoy no one speaking to them and treating them as if they are gods among men and if that's how you live your life you will be thrilled with PureSpa. I actually found that the people at PureSpa took this behavior to such extremes that I was more stressed out after a pedicure, massage and facial than when I went in. I've had spa services all over the country from a wide range of providers, luxery down to bare bones, but the vibe at PureSpa just didn't do it for me. more

My husband recently purchased a spa package for me at Pure Spa. I have been to many spas across the U.S. and on cruise ships. Pure Spa is by far the very best service oriented spa I have ever been to! From the most relaxing environment to the friendliest, helpful and knowledgeable staff my experience has been positive every time! I would recommend it to anyone! Pros: The BEST Spa in Town more

After visiting several spas in the area, I found this one to be the best one for the price and location. I like it that the therapist here never talk to you during the massage. I purchased 2 massages for my friend and she is STILL raving about the wonderful, personal service she had there; both times. Mary has a 1st Class spa, and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else for these services. From the time you enter, there is an air of relaxation, pampering and comfort of the customer and their needs. They make you feel like its all about YOU. This spa was beautifully designed and decorated. They have a picture of me taken in the waiting area showing me ASLEEP! I keep telling Mary she should use it for advertisement....Mary and her staff are great people with the best personal services as their goal. Go visit them and see for yourself! Every time I go back east, my daughter and I make a point to visiting Purespa. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the staff is very professional. Makes a great mother/daughter day out!! We've tried some of the skin care products they have there and use them all th time. My only regrets with Purespa is they aren't located where I live in Albuquerque, and I don't get to come to Roanoke often enough to enjoy their services! I enjoy going to Pure Spa because of the unique serene ambiance. As i walk in to the door I can smell the aroma that every spa should have- soothing. The staff look professional and gives five star treatment. The place is clean,neat and organize. I have been to different spas in Roanoke and when I first had my first service at Pure Spa, it was uhh and ahhhh. The BEST. more

My daughter bought me gift card for a spa day. It was my first time visiting a spa. I had a massage once on vacation but it wasn't very good so I never went back. She called the spa and had everything taken care of in advance. They left no detail undone. It was wonderful. Wendy was my massage therapist and Jennifer did my pedicure. They had a very nice lunch brought in from a cafe downstairs. All the girls were fantasic. They kept me warm, cozy and comfortable during my entire visit. After my treatment while I waited on my husband to pick me up, they did a complementary makeover with Jane Iredale minerals. I have never been so pampered in my life. My daugher lives in California and I'm going to treat her during the holidays. Pros: Full menu of services, lots of pampering for the money, knowledgable staff Cons: Can't think of anything negative about my experience. more

I have traveled all over the world when I was in the Air Force so I can honestly say this place is one of the best I've been to. They are always so friendly and they make you feel special. You know they care about your well being and not just rushing you in and out. I took my mother there and she had never had a massage. When she left she said that it reminded her of going to a good friends house. The owner actually huged her when she left because she knew she was a new spa goer. How awesome was that!! The European feel to the place is what I love. It's hard to get an appointment on the weekends but they are always accomodating to my schedule. They don't make you feel rushed no matter how busy they are. I get a foot bath and a lot of extra care every time I go. You are wasting your money if you go to the hair salons in the area and Spa Va is no where near as awesome as this place. Pros: Ambience, Service, Highly Trained Staff, Luxurious Products, Easy to get an appointment Cons: I can't think of anything about this place that needs to change. more

This is one of the best spas in Roanoke. I love this place. I have never been so pampered in my life. The pedicure was wonderful. I went with two girlfriends who were visiting from out of town. They were blown away. We had a great time. We are going to make this an annual event at Pure Spa. You'll love all the staff ... they are all excellent. I had the Lipo Active Body Treatment. It was my first time experiencing spa body therapies so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was very pleased with my results. I saw a large reduction in the appearance of orange peel like cellulite on my thighs and hips. I would definately recommend this service as well as the experienced staff. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the staff was warm and friendly. My mother had the Vie Botox Alternative Facial and saw an immediate reduction in the deep wrinkles around her smile lines. She gets one every month instead of Botox injections every 6 months. We are both addicted to Pure Spa now. Pros: The therapist was highly educated and made me feel very comfortable. I love the convenient location. Cons: No lockers available. more
