I don't normally write reviews, but after several years working with Professional Auto care, I think it's about time I did. We all know you can't trust repair shops, right? Well, there's one you can trust. I've worked on my own cars and used dealers and ""reputable"" shops for the over forty years so I know what goes on. Chet knows his stuff, he's impeccably honest, and he works hard to get you the best price possible. The work is of the highest quality but if an issue arises they correct it quickly and you can feel the pride in their work. Their guarantee is bar none. I know this because the when the damned VW wheel bearings that they had replaced went bad after almost three years, they replaced them with no questions asked, and no charge to me. They had found the bad bearing during routine maintenance, I hadn't noticed it yet. I am a suspicious, hard to please perfectionist, who is quick to abandon a vendor who slights me. But Professional Auto care has been servicing my '02 VW GTI, '05 CRV, '09 Civic, my daughter's Hyundai, my brother's BMW and I'll be taking my new BRZ to them even though the dealer offers ""free"" oil changes. more

I needed work done on my Kia in hurry and I was able to bring it right in to Professional Auto care. The key drop system was simple to use. A state inspection, oil change and tire rotation were completed and I was able to pick up my car after work. Chet took the time to make sure I understood what work was done on my vehicle. He was able to explain to me what to look for in the future to know when I would need to replace tires and even priced out 3 kinds of tires for me (making sure to explain the differences). My interaction was trustworthy and genuine. From now on I will be using Professional Auto Care and I will recommend them to my friends and family. more

I have brought my VW a number of times to Professional Auto Care, from NY inspections to mechanical problems. I am always impressed not only with how courteous and kind they are, but with the time they take to be sure I understand the issues my car may be having. Last time I went in for an exhaust issue, they were sure afterwards to show me the part that was causing the issue and explain it to me. I never am left wondering what was really wrong with my car and trust what they are telling me. I will continue to go to Professional Auto Care and recommend them to friends and family! more

Professional Auto Care is there whenever you need them! They do great work and are honest in their transactions! Aaron has worked on my car through a number of repairs and always gives me a straight answer on what is wrong and what it will cost. I have been using these guys for 4 years and have never been disappointed. When I call for an appointment, they bend over backwards to fit my schedule and will provide a loaner if necessary If I'm having a problem with something, they diagnose it, explain what my options are and give me a price that I feel is below what I'd be charged anywhere else.. I take all our family vehicles to Pro auto. For two years I've had nothing but positive experiences and dont go anywhere else. I know that these guys suggest repairs that are honestly needed and they dont kill the customer with unexpected costs....that's why they get the repeat business. I wish I discovered them years ago. My last car was a lemon. Professional Auto Care always told me what needed to be fixed right away and what could wait until I had more money. With my new car, I've only needed inspections and oil changes. They are very friendly people and treat me well. They always tell me what they are going to do up front. My car had needed several repairs on it for some time and with money being tight I needed to find a way to get everything fixed at a decent rate. I had specific things I wanted repaired and other things that I did not. They were able to work with me on all of my requests. I also was able to supply parts of my own, you don't get the 3yr/36k mile warranty for the part repair if you provide your own, but they used it. The warranty is a huge plus, I had a problem with my exhaust and it is comforting to know that if something happens to that area in the next few years that I'm covered! After I had had my repairs done, I had to drive my car around to make sure my CEL stayed off. Once it stayed off for at least a week I went in to get my inspection, at first I was told I'd have to wait, but the guy at the counter went and talked to the tech's and they took 10 minutes to squeeze me in and get me out very quickly. Last thing that I really liked about this place was the newsletter and coupon deals that I get every month. (It's optional so don't worry). But it's loaded with tips/tricks and coupons for a variety of services. They aren't just a repair shop to me now, but they will do all of the work on my car, in any fashion, from now on. Fantastic repairs, good prices, knowledgeable about imports (I drive a VW) and I couldn't have been happier with the experience. My husband and I have been going to Bob for our auto repairs for 8 years. He takes great care of us. He explains what needs to be fixed and what can wait. He always gives you options. And we know that the problem will be fixed the right way, right away. He has great coupons and is always running a special, so we feel we are getting the best price. I recently bought a used car and I knew that there were little things wrong here and there. I did my research and found that many people had recommended Bob's shop, so I felt safe in bringing my car there to be fixed. They did a very good job and I am very satisfy with the work on my car. I have been driving the car for a full two weeks now and it feels like a completely different car. Well worth the money spent to fix it and have it done right! The previous owner did a hack job of trying to fix things and caused the problem to be worse. Aaron (the mechanic at Bob's shop who fixed my car), found the hack job and corrected it. Things like this make be feel good about my decision to bring it to Bob's shop, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. more

Not only do you get friendly service, they back up all repairs until it's fixed. They even send you reminders based on previous car usage. Great place to get your auto fixed. more
