I found Prism GlassWorks to be an excellent retail outlet for supplies for ?all things glass?. It has and active glass art studio as well as an educational facility for both novice and advanced students. It is also stocked with equipment and supplies for those who are interested in stained, leaded glass and fusing. For the beginner, one can walk into the shop and leave with all of the tools and necessary accessories to explore just about any facet of the glass working hobby.\r \r There is also a wide array of finished glass work, e.g., stunning stained glass panels, fused bowls and jewelry. All of these pieces, as well as commissioned work, are available at reasonable prices.\r \r There are at least 12 different hands-on classes that cover topics such as soldering instruction, introduction to stained glass, fusing and mosaics. Both Sharon and Julie can answer any question on stained glass, fusing, and any other general glass question you may have. My mother and I took the beginning stained glass class from Julie and really enjoyed ourselves. We learned so much and produced 2 beautiful stained glass panels. They also offer books, tools, glass in all colors, fusing glass, classes, and so much more. I highly recommend if you are interested in glass that you stop in and see what they have to offer. more

This is a small company in downtown Maumee. My experience going in there was not very good. They seemed\r very aloof and unconcerned that we were there. They are\r however clean and offer classes and lots of supplies for this craft. Parking is right outside their door. more
