If you ever refinance or start a new mortgage and your banker mentions this title company- DEMAND a different one.
Were financed about 9months ago and they totally screwed it up. They disbursed our checks wrong and sent them to the wrong companies rather than to us like they are supposed too.
One huge one ended up being re-deposited into our mortgage and neither the mortgage company nor the title company would release it. It was supposed to pay off a credit card- the whole reason we refied in the first place- and to this day it is not paid off.
They also did not pay our homeowners insurance out of the refi proceeds like they were supposed to and TRIPLED our premium for their incompetence!
Despite months of phone calls they can't get their act together and have fluctuated between clueless and out-right lying about what they have done. We paid them how much to do this refi? We are working on demanding our money back!
