I am a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America, and when I started asking around the club for a good mechanic, I was recommended Paul at Primetune Auto Repair. I was impressed with the way he did business and I have been using him now for five years. I even carry his extra business cards with me.
Paul services all of my vintage and model cars that are out of warranty because I trust him. At one point, he installed an electric fuel pump on my vintage 57 Chevy. I then took the car on a road trip, but two and half hours into the drive, the car shut down. I called Paul, explained the situation, and he set out to meet me with extra parts to fix the fuel pump. However, before he reached me, we were able to determine that the cause of the problem was a severed fuel line, which was caused by hitting some debris on the road, and not the electric fuel pump. I called Paul and told him, but he decided to continue on so he could check out the problem personally.
I cannot recommend Primetune Auto Repair enough. I am very, very particular about who works on my automobiles. At this point, I just drop off my cars and tell him to fix whatever problem he finds because I know he will charge fairly. Paul never pushes unnecessary repairs and services. He makes suggestions not to sell, but in the interest of preventative maintenance. He is very knowledgeable and trustworthy.
