WARNING! The Orentreich group has a very established reputation in the beauty buisiness as being on the cutting edge of skin care. However, this has increased their business so much over the past decade, that when you go into the office, it is more like a factory than a doctor's office. INCLUDING the care you receive from the doctor. I saw Catherine on several occasions for Botox as well as a facial peel, which she recommended. She is good at administering the botox, but WATCH OUT FOR THE FACIAL PEELS!!! She used a light peel on me and the nurse/assistant immediately covered my face w/ a water soaked paper towel- standard procedure. They COULD have poked holes in it so that I could breath, but this is a minor complaint compared to what this peel did to my skin. I got the usual flaky peel-off situation, but she was so careless in her application of this peel, that she also applied this stuff to the very delicate skin area under my eye. THE SKIN PUCKERED AND HAS NEVER RECOVERED. Now, four years after this peel, the puckering is of course gone (after much flaking and peeling), but the skin is now lax and wrinkled. Not so on the other eye, but there is an obvious difference on this eye where she made the mistake. So I KNOW it's not the aging process! Her approach was careless and cavalier and I will NEVER GO BACK THERE. Thank Goodness I have found a good facialist who has been able to restore my skin to where it was in my thirties (I'm now in my 50s), without using such drastic or careless measures. Unfortunately, the damage to my eye is done. WARNING. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FACTORY!!!
