Bad food, Bad Service 7/23/2005

Service was extremely slow. Every time we ordered a drink, the waiter seemed like he had no patience for us. I ordered the most expensive thing on the menu - the shrimp wrapped in bacon and it was so dry and awful that I only ate two of the five pieces. We all were supposed to get salads with our dinner and the waiter never brought them out, so we had caesar salad for dessert. I was so unimpressed. Sub-Par Quality for the Price 12/1/2003

Citysearch should add another dollar to the expense rating. Pracna charges too much for low quality food. The salmon quesadilla was bland and not fresh, the potato skins also mushy and bland. Pracna would be a much better place to go if they would just pick up the pace. We sat down at an empty table right away, but everything after that was a long wait. Ridiculously Awful 5/16/2003

By far the WORST restaurant experience I have ever had. The service, lousy doesn't even describe it. He was rude and fully incompetent. The food, entrees served at drastically varying times (supposedly a ""confused cook"") weren't worth half the price of ingredients. The drinks ordered at the same time, came after dinner as did the side salad. If you're in the neighborhooh, go to Sophias, Kikugawa, Tugs, Nye's, Bobino's - anywhere else. You're better off sitting in the nice lawn across the street, clipping some grass trimmings and making a salad out of that. Oh the manager did comp us a round, though. Great night-time bar 1/24/2003

Pull up a stool at the city's oldest bar and discuss the movie you just saw at St. Anthony over a pint of Harp. The service is quite friendly, drinks are poured with expertise, and the decor is inviting. I just discovered Pracna several months ago, but I've been frequenting ever since. more

Not so hot 6/29/2002

I went with a group of 8 to Pracna for dinner and we were all very dissapointed with the service and food. We were seated quickly but the service was VERY slow and the food was mediocre at best. After dinner we moved to the patio for drinks, hoping service outside would be better. It was worse. Pros: location, patio Cons: service, food, poor quality for $ more

Mediocre on Main 6/23/2002

I wish I had listened to the other reviews.....Pracna's gave me the worst restaurant experience of my life! We waited 1 hr. 45 min. to be served our food after ordering, had to reorder drinks numerous times because the waiter forgot them, and the food was cold on arrival. To make matters worse, the food was mediocre at best. The best feature of Pracna's is it's location. more
