Simple lawn maintenance job went very well. Mark personally estimated our lawn maintenance job and additional possible plantings - in writing. We went with the lawn maintenance only and set a date. He then had to change the date but gave enough advance notice for courtesy. We appreciate that he is conversant and communicative via email. The crew arrived on day of service 45 minutes later than scheduled but got quickly to work and did a thorough, consistent job mowing and trimming most of 4-5 acres. We were flexible so the delay was not a problem, but it would have been good to get a heads- up cell phone call on a 45 minute delay like that. The work was great, the workers fine, no issues. Will work with him again, reminding him to please give us a more accurate eta estimate. more

They are perhaps the worst landscaping company I have ever dealt with. They refused to finish work, demanded payments early, and once they received payment, didn't bother to come back and finish the work. Unresponsiveness, excuses, and ""additional charges"" are the way that Mark Poteat does business. He got multiple ""F"" ratings on Angie's list and responded to every single one with excuses and reasons why the person offering a review was irrational despite his best efforts to satisfy them. Do not choose this guy's company to do your work. Any other business will do the work as well and you won't have to deal with a guy with a salesman's great personality but questionable business ethics. more

Terrible, terrible, terrible - no wonder he has an F rating with the BBB with 5 unanswered complaints. Sent me a bunch of non speaking individuals who tore my lawn up and when I confronted them they told me ""No habla Engleis"". When I called the owner, he hung up on me after he yelled at me and told me I should have supervised his guys! DO NOT USE THESE ILLEGALS! TERRIBLE!!!!! more
