I absolutely love Positive Images! I discovered it years ago and have bought so many treasures there for myself and others. All their merchandise is artisan-created and one-of-a-kind, and they have a broad price range of wonderful items in the store. You'll find glassware, wood, ceramics, metal, paper, fiber, and jewelry. Positive Images is a great place to go for a gift, especially if you don't know the taste of the recipient. Your gift is guaranteed to be unique, and you're sure to find something in the price range you want to spend. Even though everything is artisan-made, it's clever and sophisticated, not ""crafty"". I always get compliments on my purchases from Positive Images, whether it's a piece of jewelry, a lamp, a mirror custom designed for my husband, or some other special item displayed in my home. Deborah and Dennis have been wonderful to work with. They know my taste and have helped my husband select just the right gift. I've also exchanged things without any problem and, if I've had an issue, the item's been graciously taken care of. Special orders can often be done, as well. They carry most lines all the time and have seasonal items, as well. It's always fun to stop in and see what's new! more

I purchased a bracelet that fell apart and the owners refused to give me a refund. I returned it within a few days of purchase and Dennis (co-owner) replaced it with another of the same design admitting it was flawed. I thought, oh great, what good customer service. Unfortunately, the replacement bracelet also fell apart within 2 days. I think they used glue to hold it together so it just came undone. \r When I returned it asking for a refund which seemed completely reasonable, they (Dennis and his wife, Deborah) refused saying it was a store policy and I had to take a store credit or have it repaired to the original (flawed) condition. They embarrassed me in front of other customers saying I had taken it off incorrectly. I explained that I hadn't taken it off since it was purchased. It had literally just fallen off my wrist just like the other one had. They became even more rude and adamant despite my offer to send the artist a letter explaining it was flawed (so they wouldn't incur any costs). Deborah literally slammed their no refund sign on the counter saying I should know the policy. I am shocked having been a customer of theirs for over 10 years and having spent thousands of dollars with them (never until now returning a single item). \r It's so disheartening to see that they were happy to take my money all those years but are not honest enough to stand behind their products when they are clearly flawed. Truly shocking. more

My husband and I have been customers of Positive Images for many years (buying and just browsing!), and we could not disagree more with a previous negative review. The owners and staff have been unfailingly friendly and helpful, and the jewelry and other objects the store carries are unique and beautiful (and invite admiring comments from friends and strangers, which is always nice). We purchased our engagement and wedding rings here, as well as many gifts, necklaces, bracelets and earrings and have been very happy with our purchases. Whenever my (wonderful & generous) husband wishes to surprise me with a special present, he heads down to Positive Images for a chat with Janna or Deborah, and voila! more

This is a store where the staff/managers are rude and don't stick to their word. I have bought several pieces of very expensive jewelry from them until they refused a simple exchange. I asked, when I bought the piece, if they would exchange it and refund the difference if my girlfriend didn't like the piece and chose one of different value. Apparently, they conveniently forgot the whole conversation less than 24 hours later when she came in for the exchange. The difference was only a few hundred dollars on a large purchase, but they acted affronted when I asked for the refund in price. After buying thousands of dollars of jewelry from them, I am taking my business elsewhere. I can't believe how rude they were to me after all the business I've given them! more

This was our first stop on our search for an engagement ring and we had really wonderful service. They made us feel comfortable , not pressured at all, and answered all of our questions. Also, the rings they carried were unique and beautiful. Highly recommended! Pros: Lots of parking, unique items Cons: none! more
