Best

The steak burrito is amazing, and the quezadilla is super-amazing. Parking at the Burbank location is horrible and parking at the Universal City location is super-horrible.

the best 2/24/2008

Delicious, fast, fresh and friendly! Doesn't get much better than that! Call ahead for pick up because there is not much room to wait for your order when the place is busy. Pros: fresh and delicious Cons: lack of waiting area for to-go orders more

Fresh, delicious Mexican food. 12/4/2007

I've never been disappointed by this place, no matter what I get. Everything is delicious and the prices are reasonable. One of my favorite lunch spots. Pros: Food is delicious and well-prepared. Cons: Busy and loud during lunch. more

Great for vegetarians 8/10/2007

I love this place because they make vegeterians really very happy... though the quesadilla can get soggy =( Pros: great food. price Cons: parking more

An awakening, of sorts 2/5/2007

I was a die-hard Baja Fresh fan before I stumbled upon this spot. It was the closest lunch counter during my very brief break from working at the nearby radio station. The food was amazing. It changed my perspective on Mexi-Cali food altogether. It got crowded in the teeny-tiny place, but the quesadilla was deliciously worth it. more

Homemade tortillas and fresh ingredients set this taco stand apart 6/26/2006

Ever since I discovered P.M. a year ago, it's been hard for me to justify hitting up any other California-tinged Mexican eateries. Freshly made tortillas put Baja Fresh, La Salsa, et. al. to shame. ""We don't serve fast food... we serve fresh food as fast as we can"" is truly not just a slogan. Try it. I don't believe it's possible to be disappointed. Pros: Pretty much everything Cons: Drink selection is minimal more

Poquito Mas: A Little More than Good 1/29/2003

Well, I expected a restaurant, but I recieved a hybrid fast-food. In the manner of Baja Fresh, Poquito Mas serves up typical semi-fast food Mexican fare. The burritos were great, and they have an amazing array of salsas to go with your free sampling of chips. If you want a restaurant, this is not the place to go. If you want good fast food, it's perfect. Cool outdoor/indoor seating too. Pros: good food more

Poquito Mas ole! 6/3/2002

I love Poquito Mas. The food is fresh, inexpensive and it's the right amount of food. The service is great too. This is always my first choice when debating on where to go out for dinner to. They also sell beer and have tv's to watch while you dine. Explained in one word: Perfect! more

nbc studio secret 5/21/2002

I love Poquito Mas. the food is very good, inexpensive, and very fresh. The salsa is always made fresh. We like to have Poquito Mas for lunch or dinner. We order out while working. The only catch is that they do not provide delivery service. It would be a plus for us (St Joseph Medical Center staff) Try the steak burritos, they also have chicken and shrimp. The burritos are huge, can save half or share with someone Try it! more

Fresh Food Fast 5/12/2002

The only reason to eat at an actual Mexican restaurant in LA is for the margaritas. If you don't want to drink, but do want good food this is the place to go. The Poquito Mas motto says it all: ""We don't make fast food, we make fresh food as fast as we can."" Pros: inexpensive, great quality, fast service Cons: can get crowded more
