My introduction was a few years ago at a wedding reception, a bbq buffet with the staff in black tie, and real china. Since I started this practice in Austin we started using the Brodie Oaks store I was impressed when I met the two white bearded managers Sam and Don and one of the owners, a TRUE U.T Man. The service though still very good has less of a family feel since they moved the GM Sam to the corporate office and Don moved to Galveston, but the food is still excellent. The guy that seems to always be there with a smile and friendly word, Da-me-tri-o, is amazing with his memory, go in a couple of time and he will remember you and what meats you like and how you like it cut. The meats are juicy and tender, the side dishes are plentiful. I will be glad when the pepper issue is solved so they will start making their fresh Pico de Gallo again. They have been cranking out great bbq for almost 30 years and I believe they will for at least 30 more with great bbq.\r
We order in for the office a couple of times a month and everyone loves it even our non meat eaters. I have never seen a bbq restaurant that has so many options for vegetarians. It is great! And one call takes care of everyone in the office.\r
So I have to say to the owners, Thank you and please keep up the great job!\r
