I love this place! the delivery is perfect- faster than expected sometimes but always spiced right and tasty- so delicious.

I've never been impressed with Planet Bombay's food. While I've never had a horrible experience, most of the dishes I've tasted have flirted with blandness. If you're in Little Fi...

Planet Bombay was soooo good!! My food was hot and fresh. And it arrive exactly as it was predicted. The driver was very friendly. This was my first time using GrubHub as well as eating food from this restaurant. Planet Bombay is my new fave and I will definitely eat it again and again!!! more

I really enjoyed my meal from Planet Bombay! The order was mixed up having things I didn't order nor was not familiar with. I ordered late but still well before closing. The things I ordered were good and mild as per my request but several items were too hot to eat. They changed my order on several items without notifying me or offering choices. Fortunately one of my guests could have more spices and ate the things we couldn't eat. What we ordered was very good and delivery was right on time and the driver was very friendly . more

I try to eat Planet Bombay's delicious food at least once a week. I've gone there quite a few times with various of my coworkers and they've all really enjoyed it, even one who recently came from India. Their delivery is very fast and they've got the nicest guy on earth doing it. They often give you free papadums and pack the drinks (I always get a mango lassi and iced spiced tea) carefully so that they don't spill all over your food. Their vindaloo is fantastic, and so is their bhindi bhaji. If you like spicy, give their bullet naan a whirl--it is excellent. more

SO SLOW! The food took like 1 and a half hours to get to my house (ordered around 7:30, got it a little after 9:00pm). But otherwise, somewhat tasty. The tandoori chicken was not a huge portion, but it tasted good. Would I order from them again? Maybe. But I'd likely pick it up instead of waiting on delivery. more

Editorial review from GrubHub 3/24/2013

I ordered the Chicken Tikki Masala, Garlic Naan, and Gulab Jamun. The masala was very creamy and came with a side of Basmati Rice. The taste was great though I wished I had been able to make it spicier. I didn't see an option for that on the GrubHub site but the receipt I got from the restaurant had "mild" listed on it next to my masala. Next time I'll make sure to request the masala to be spicier. The garlic naan was very good. Fresh baked and just a hint of garlic, not overpowering. The gulab jamun was great as well. The only problem I had with the order was the amount of time it took to get a delivery. I placed the order at 8:11pm and didn't get delivered until about 9:27. Much too long. But, to be honest, I wasn't in a rush and it was certainly good. I recommend this restaurant and will be ordering from them again if not going directly to the restaurant. more

Best Indian Food 11/19/2011

Food was pretty good and fresh. Especially considering I went there at 1:30PM. Portion size was just right for lunch. Dishes were seasoned with the right balance of spices. \r \r The decor was actually better than I expected. It is after all a ""hole in the wall"" as many have observed\r more

I've always liked the Planet - but recently i really love the Planet. The spicy vindaloo and creamy saag paneer are awesome. They make a great naan which is perfect to mop up all the sauce with. The service can be a little slow - but that?s because they're usually understaffed and pretty busy - but they're always friendly. For some reason just in the past year their food seems to have gotten much much better. Maybe it's just me... Anyway I like how they don't automatically assume I can't handle spicy food and dumb it down (like most other Atlanta Indian places do) - All the food seems to come out at the perfect heat for me - consistently. It isn't a fancy, high dining restaurant - the decor is a little rough... But the food is great and like many have said previously ? the Bollywood is always bumpin!\r \r Pros: Great Vindaloo - Great Naan - Great fod\r more

Avoid this place 4/25/2008

The food is not at all indian. It is bland and tasteless. Not meant for people from indian sub continent or any one who has tasted even decent indian food.\r \r We went there in a group of 10 and every one left at least half of their meal in the plates. \r Please do not try the Chicken Biryani there. it is sweet and the rice has a heavy coat of Rose Water and colors. Excessive use of colors in almost every item ( including Mango Lassi) is another soar point. The plain lassi too had a generous portion of sugar.\r We ordered mango pickle and got a bowl of mixed pickles.\r The veg salad means onions and slices of tomotoes.\r Tandori chicken wings tasted as if it was served from a ready to eat pack.\r \r There is nothing good for vegetarians at all. Chana Masala was useless.\r \r I must say that their website is a trap. After having food, i went there to leave my review comments but was shocked to see that it does not allow any one to put their review. But they do display all candy floss review on their web site.\r \r This is not a place to go if you want to have indian food. Pros: The serving staff Cons: tasteless food. Smells heavily when you enter more

Great food, great service! Would definitely go back here. 3/17/2008

Great food, great service! Would definitely go back here. \r \r It was raining pretty hard that day and the nearest parking we found was a lot down the street a bit so we got soaked. That was the only thing that was bad about this dining experience. We walked in to the restaurant, were seated immediately with a smile by a very nice server. It was about 50% filled. We asked for a high chair and it was brought out immediately. Shortly after, he brought out some papadam with an orange hued mint chutney which was very tasty. Our orders were taken as soon as we put our menus back down on the table. I ordered the Paneer Makhni with rice and naan and got to try the Channa Masala and Gobi Bhaji . The food came out hot and fresh and in a timely manner. The naan was very good, fresh and soft. The Channa and Gobi were excellent! I normally don't care for Gobi but the mix of spices made the Gobi delicious. I would order it again. The Paneer Makhni was also good, however was a bit sweeter than I prefer (certain regions in India do like to add a little sugar). Again, the service was fantastic. The server kept our drinks full and was very pleasant. You could tell that he really cared whether we were satisfied or not and we definitely were. I recommend!\r more

Best Indian in Atlanta. You're having a laugh surely? 2/28/2008

You people clearly haven't tasted good Indian Food if you rate this place so highly. It's average at best. I'm from the UK, where we know a thing about a good curry, and the stuff they serve up here is far from good. Pretty bland, and I'll question the freshness too. I ordered 3 different curries for my friend and I, and they only brought 2. So as we set about the first 2 dishes, the waiter hurriedly made his way back to the kitchen to have the cook start the 3rd. Oh, and the rice meter must have been running, because the small portion we had between two of us was barely enough for one meal.\r \r The waiter was sweet, in an almost comical way. By that, I mean he had only recently arrived from Bangladesh, and the poor thing had a terrible time understanding us. It was actually quite comical.\r \r Oh, and finally, they really need to work in the decor in the place. They layout is atrocious, and the lighting is so bright, you could literally photosynthesize in there. Kiss goodbye to any hopes of intimacy or ambience.\r \r The garlic nan was pretty good though (but again, nothing special). Pros: Hard to think of one. Cons: Food, Service, Atmosphere more
