great view, dated decor 10/23/2007

the very dated decor (oh-so 80s) is balanced by a fabulous waterfront setting. so relaxing to order from excellent wine list and watch boats bob at anchor in marina out front. dishes are occasionally fussy and a little over the top, but always well prepared --- scallops appetizer is perfect. great wines by the glass. desserts a miss. Great customer service and FABULOUS steak & fish! 4/16/2007

Dining at the Piper is always a great time. Over the last year, I've dined there a couple times a month and have always left satisfied. The atmosphere is festive and the staff is energetic. The walls feature unique artwork and views of Lake Macatawa are amazing. Pros: Ambience, parking, service, VIEW Cons: None more

What a restaurant. Not only a special occasion spot, but an everday great meal anytime. Afforable, ecclectic atmosphere, fabulous food, and knowledgable staff. A must try and return type of dinning. Pros: The total package is a PRO Cons: a small drive but FAR worth it. Only 5 + miles from town but a senic drive along the lakefront more

Hands Down Our Favorite Restaurant 11/2/2005

The Piper has long been me and my husband's favorite place to dine. We come here for special occasions, to entertain friends, and just for the great food and views. Sitting right on Macatawa Lake, The Piper offers fantastic specials and the best Flan in the area! They have unique and tasty starters and succulent entrees that have your mouth watering just reading the descriptions. This has been our spot for Valentine's Day every year and you must try the special mixed drinks (especially the martinis!) they come up with just for this holiday. You won't be disappointed! more
