I've owned two JD lawn tractors for the last 20 years. "Piedmont Equipment" always did a great job on yearly service. even picked up and delivered my tractor - all cleaned up and ready for a new year of service.
Now that Virginia Tractor has come in, service can only be described as either pitiful or simply non-existent. They just don't seem to care like the people who used to own this company. Even if I bring in my mower, they want AT LEAST a week (even with an advance appointment), and a week's time is only if they actually get it right the first time - which is rare. They've even tried to give me back a Stihl that wasn't running well after no one had touched it - and CHARGE ME for it!
I REALLY want to own another John Deere mower, but if these people are my only option for Deere service, I will have to change brands. A real shame to see someone screw up something that was so good for so long...
