photo memories sucks! they took my 1st graders pics and they were totally off-center. We ended up using The Picture People. We are STILL waiting for someone to answer the phone or return our emails to have senior pictures done (for the yearbook). Thank goodness we found true professionals elsewhere. more

I also have a son, nieces and nephews that go to Cabarrus Co Schools. I myself went to school in Cabarrus Co. and Photo Memories took my school pictures. As stated by another member they must be doing something right to have pleased the county school system administrators and parents for 35+ years , and if you will take note that is approximately 20 thousand school pictures taken each year by Photo Memories, It's nice to know that I am actually getting something for next to no money that I can go back and look at 25 or 50 years from now that will spark memories of who my son was at that time in his life and know that it wasn't just another fund raise for the school that I was wasting my hard earned money on. Which I noticed that you failed to mention in your comments that this is a fund raiser for each school. So can you or anyone else tell me a better fund raiser that each school has that will carry memories for years to come. As for the staff I have had several dealings with them and had no problems what so ever, but that could also mean I was treated with the same respect that I gave them. They have been more than willing to help solve any problems that have came up in a smooth and quick manner to my satisfaction. When I had to deal with another photo company in the past who had taken my sons sports pictures, I purchased 3 packages with 2 different poses and the package was wrong. When contacting that company I was pretty much told it was my problem, because when it came down to it between the two packages to got the correct number of pictures. So I called Photo Memories and asked if they would retake may sons pictures for me.. They told me when they were at a school nearby so I took my son by there and they gladly handled the rest !!!! Which within 2 weeks I got the same 2 packages for less money and it was correct with no hassle. I myself am glad that Photo Memories who has been around for so long and who has or had children of their own go through Cabarrus Co Schools took my pictures and my sons pictures which were great quality photos. There aren't many companies like them left out there who will go out of their way to help like they have. more

"Photo Memories" has been working in Cabarrus County for about 35 years. They must be doing something right. When school pictures are taken they are put on a schedule that suits the administration so the the teachers don't miss much instructional time. If combing hair and fixing collars are needed they should be done before they arrive in the room to have their picture made. These are not portrait pictures, they are school pictures. I have 2 children also, and have been pleased with the quality of the pictures. I'm sure that if I wasn't satisfied that they would do what they could to make sure that I was a satisfied. I realize that if I want portrait quality pictures that I should schedule an appointment and have them made. I have dealt with several of the staff and find them to be very professional and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure that their customers are completely satisfied. more

“Photo Memories” is a local photo company. They do school and sport photos. They have held the contracts for Cabarrus county school for the last 9 yrs. I have children in the 6th and 9th grade, along with a number of nieces and nephews so I have seen many, many “Photo Memories” pictures. I can honestly say I have only seen a few good pictures. Children are rushed though the lines more like animals than children. No time is allowed for preparing the children. (ex. Combing hair, straighten a collar or etc…) I have also had dealings with a number of the staff members from “Photo Memories”. I must say I was not impressed with any of them. more
