Service is always pleasant, prices are great, pho noodle soup is very good. Most foods are the standard. I have a list of food allergies, including corn, which means I cannot eat anything that uses corn starch as a thickener. However, the owner told me they use flour in their stir fry dishes instead. This is one of two places in my area that I can have stir fry at all. Love that! I'm not sure about the hoisin sauce though, I think there is food starch in that. Bummer. Out of all the vietnamese places i've been to, this one has to be my favorite. I don't understand some reviews posted here because the food is excellent and the price is fair. I believe there's enough meat on the Pho because the beef is already high-priced on most food markets. I tried myself making a beef noodle soup, but the price was even higher and nothing compared to the flavor Pho One has.. The customer service is sure friendly and nice. You're always satisfied. more

When all you are having is some char grilled meat (either beef or chicken or pork) on vermicelli -one expects the meat to be reasonably fresh. The chicken I got was smelly (as in old). The quantity - as mentioned on another review - was far less than that in other vietnamese places (which didn't matter to me - since I couldn't eat any of it anyway because of the stale smell). \r With the kind of vietnamese options that this city has - not sure why one would settle for below average food. The service was fine - friendly people - but that doesn't excuse poorly cooked food. Pros: None really - friendly people? Cons: Food not fresh more

As the popularity of Pho is growing, these places are popping up all over. Most of the ones I've tried outside of Bellaire / Harwin have been a big mistake. This place was great! The food was every bit as good as some of my favourite spots but the resturant itself had a cleaner feel. Prices also comparable. They also had a large selection including vegetarian options in every section of the menu. If you live in the area it is a must try! more

Im not going to lie the food is delicious and i love going there, i been going to pho one since its been open around my area. I mean the dishes are very profound and i love eating the food regulary, but one thing bad about is it needs better customer service i mean im not saying it in mean way but theres people that work in chillis, olive garden, even other chinese or viet restruents that work for there money and not just bring the water and never ask for refill. Also the dishes are pretty expensive and i dont complain that the dishes are pretty pricy but if im paying that amount of money i want to see THAT AMOUNT OF FOOD ON THE DISHES! other day i had PHO with meat and tendon also with egg rolls and i was very disapointed. In the PHO there was about 3 pieces of meat plus 1 or 2 maybe couple little crums of tendon inside the dish. If im paying 6 doller for pho plus 50 cent tax i really want to eat a dish that makes me full. Other day my friend said he got meat dish and he recieve 3 small beefs, and he was not very setisfied with the food. In conclusion i think its a great restruant but please dont be shiesty with the MEATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

Pho one is a brand new restaurant but don't be fooled by that;\r owner's family used to run several Pho restaurants for years in New Orleans and the food is delicious!\r It is well located on a small shopping center on westheimer Rd near beltway 8 in west Houston.\r \r There is a pretty large choice of entries on the menu and you can choose from vietnamese sandwiches to rice platters , rice noodle soups or vermicelli bowls.\r either if you want to dine in or carry out.\r As you like it hot or cold, there is always something for you on the menu!\r Food is always fresh and not expensive at all! Service is fast and reliable , always there to please you!\r \r Surely one of the best in the area!\r more
