Excellent experience at PeterBs. Came in for a last minute tire mounting and alignment and Peter provided excellent service with a clean facility and fair price. \r \r NOTE: Those reviews that refer to high prices really need to think about what they are posting. Automotive repair and maintenance is as much art as it is science. Could I have gotten an alignment at tire barn or a comprehensive service at midas or another small shop for a lower price? I have been taking my car to Peter B's for quite some time now. Always have had honest, good work. Recently, had battery tested quickly at AutoZone and the guy said "Oh, just drive it around it will recharge on it's own". I drove straight to Peter B's. They tested and the battery was bad. I am an older woman and can't afford to have my car battery to fail just anywhere. more

Yesterday 11-9-10 i took my car in, was having an overheating problem, they checked it out, put a new radiator bottom hose on, a thermostat, all seemed well, but when i pulled into my driveway could not open my driver door, never had this problem before and owned the car 2.5 years, i called them and they said they didn't mess with the door at all, seems very strange that i have never had this problem before and all of the sudden i get my car back from being worked on and i cannot get out of the car. my family has done business with them for about 7 or 8 years and no problems in the past, now i would not suggest anyone to go there more

I haven't had nearly as good of results at Peter B's as the other reviewers. As a matter of fact, I have had some major problems over there. They used to be really good, but something has happened more recently. I have had jobs botched where Peter himself admitted they botched the job, yet he still charged me for it! This is VERY different than how he used to be. Also, in two cases, their repair damaged part of my car. Again, Peter took no responsibility, though he admitted the damage was due to what they had done. I used to highly recommend them to others, but now I could not, in good conscience recommend to my family, friends, or others. Too bad. It used to be an easy decision where to take the car. I was fully sold on Peter B. Now I have to find some place decent again. more

We took our '99 Toyota truck in for a 90,000 mile service and found the shop's service to be as good as any Toyota dealership we've used. The prices were pretty close to a dealership, though - the service came in at about $350. I was a bit irked to find that they charged me $1.50 to top off my windshield washer fluid.\r \r It's also hard to get an appointment some times... PROS: quality workmanship CONS: high prices more

Altought knowing it was expensive, people keep going there fix there cars. We did once a couple of years ago when we got a big problem in the car. We got aware a lot of people were in the waiting list. And that time it took about a week to be our turn. I would say their service was great. We knew what was wrong and how much money is needed to fix it. Yes the car has been working well for a couple of years after that. more
