Kind down to Earth Doctor 4/27/2017

When asking Doctor Perkins any questions or concerns of ones injury, he is always very polite and kind in his answers. The type of Doctor that is down to earth and you feel very comfortable with him, like you matter. You do not feel like he is rushing you off like many Doctors do. The Physical Therapy team in the same building that is needed many times after surgery is also highly recommended by me. more

Excellent Facility! 1/18/2017

Dr. Perkins did a rotator cuff repair back in 2012, and I was very happy with him. He is very kind and when I had an after hours concern, he was there for me. He really cares about his patients and he is very truthful. I still go to him for care and he and his staff are very kind and professional. I would highly recommend him!! more

Outstanding Orthopedic Office 9/26/2016

I cannot recommend Dr. Perkins enough!!! My Son, Wife, and Myself have all had issues resolved thanks to Dr. Perkins and we couldn't be happier with our outcomes. As a high school football coach, I've sent over a dozen kids over the last 7 years to Dr. Perkins for a variety of injuries, and each time the parents/athlete have been very happy with their results. The only negative is sometimes the wait in their office can be longer than expected, but as I mentioned earlier, that wait is overshadowed by the attention that is given to each patient and the outstanding recovery that comes with his work. Outstanding doctor and staff!!! more

Excellent service and great staff 9/7/2016

The Institute for Athletic Medicine staff and especially Dr. Perkins did a great job in assessing my situation in a professional and informative manner. Dr. Perkins conducted surgery on my shoulder to repair a rotator cuff tear and I would recommend him and The Institute for Athletic Medicine to any of my friends or family members. more

Poor First Experience 8/16/2016

Sitting in the waiting room as a new patient, I quickly became turned off by the staff at the Institute for Athletic Medicine. Instead of billing patients, they demand payment for services immediately. I am not talking about copayments I am talking about what they estimate your insurance will not pay. Forget about any form of politeness or courtesy, simply its our policy. Since it was 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment (first of the morning mind you), and I hadn't even met Dr. Perkins yet and was already being told I owed money, I decided to go elsewhere. Dr Perkins may be great, but first impressions are everything and I felt this was headed down a dark road. more
