Perdition is a great place. Always an interesting selection on tap, and the use of a Kilkenny Tap System keeps the beer cold and fresh. I'm not a cocktail drinker, so I can't comment on them, but I'm told Jenny is a master mixologist. The whole staff, Jenny, Jeff, Scottie, Jess and Sean (who I've known for twenty plus years and at least half a dozen bars) are very friendly and talented bartenders and hosts. The space is good, too. Sort of lounge-like inside the front door, it turns to more tradidional pub (with a cosmopolitan flair) by the bar, then back to lounge again as you pass the DJ booth to the back, where there are several well-defined and private seating areas. And...you've got to go downstairs and check out the bathrooms. I know this sounds ridiculous, but in a city where many bars have very crappy (pun intended) restrooms, the care that went into the design of the facilities at Perdition is indicative of the care that went into the design of the entire place.
Pros: Beer selection; staff; atmosphere; friendly, friendly place
Cons: Location (only a slight con, though)
