Terrible! After reading the last review and just getting off the phone with VerHalen, let me say, this is the worst customer service in the business! I, like the previous review, have black mold growing on my new windows again, and they said the same thing..a year ago. Humidity and windows were fine! It is amazing to me that my bathroom is right next door, same window and same exposure, blind is always down and my kids take 20 min. showers and have NO mold in that room, but in a bedroom where no one has been for 1 year AND the window treatments were removed, guess what's back! MOLD! Called the installer and they want Pella to come out. Pella wants a guarantee of $82 trip fee-Uhh, what #+#**? So after going back and forth, the installer is gonna pony up for that but now they say they have no one until 3 weeks to come look at the window. REALLY??? you gotta be kidding me? I have a son coming home from college to occupy that room, and he has asthma. Do they care? No! Can they please send more

In June of 2009, I commissioned Ver Halen Inc to replace my Bay Window in order to treat a black mold growth in the older window. They charged $6,100 for the service and installation of the new window. My initial complaint is that they estimated delivery and installation in early August; six weeks after they had received full project payment in late June. As I had not heard from them, I called in Mid-August. The project had not been scheduled. The earliest they were able to do the install was late September. Nearly 2 months after the original estimated date. Next, when their Project Coordinator called me to schedule the painting that needed to be done in order to complete the project. We settled on Saturday, September 26th. I got a call on Friday, September 25th in the afternoon., They said they would not be able to make the appointment due to a previously scheduled customer appointment. They came by to finish the project on October 17th, a full three weeks later and more than 2.5 mon more

We replaced our windows several years ago and are very happy with them. The salesmen were very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The installers were very competent, did an excellent job. Would recommend to others. more

We purchased our patio doors and we are very happy with the purchase. The service was wonderful, the sales reps. were very knowledgeable and offered many suggestions that we did not think of. Their prices were in line with others in the area. We would definitely use them again. more

I have been dealing with Verhalen for years and have always found them to be exceptionally reliable. I appreciate the fact that they are honest in giving order times and will have merchandise there before promised in many cases. Their showroom is great to send customers to and their product is beyond compare. Cudos to Verhalen. more
