shhhh .. don't tell anyone! Peking Duck House restaurant is one of the best kept secrets in Pompano Beach... this place rocks! The Chinese food is outstanding.

This is not a Chinese buffet folks, this is the real deal. If you grew up on buffet you just might not like this place because it is very good, authentic Chinese food! Yes, new ownership and no, they are not Chinese and the woman I believe is the owner is less than friendly. I went for dinner, not to make friends. My waiter was Chinese and sweet and attentive and the food was great and always is. more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! First of all, although it says Chinese food, there wasn't one Asian person in there (not that that's relevant) but it gets worse. The OWNER TOLD ME TO GET MY ORDER STRAIT!! First of all RUDE, you should NEVER tell a customer that and second of all this is AFTER I got take out and THEY forgot 3 of my dishes! So I used the gas money and the time to go pick up the food THEY forgot, then to top it off the Indian at the front desk tells me to get my order strait. To top it all off, I'm pregnant and I'm sorry but you don't talk to pregnant women that way. I WILL NEVER go back and for the rest of my life I will tell people how BAD the service is. OH!! AND WHITE MEAT IS 2 DOLLARS EXTRA!!??? STUPIDEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD - RUDE SCAM ARTISTS. more

I've been going to this restaurant for years. The food is consistently well prepared. Some of my favoirtes are Sauteed Beef (Beef on a stick), BBQ Spareribs, Beef and Brocolli and the Moo Shu Chicken. more

The peking duck I order was horrible!!!! So horrible the same night at about 3:30 am I was vomiting that crap. Just for two meals it was $50.00 which wasn't worth it. Best place for peking duck in the South Florida area is Gou Lou Cheung Chinese BBQ in Fort Lauderdale, FL. more

Remember people, this joint is called the Peking duck house! If you want duck go here, otherwise don't complain about average seafood or whatever. This place has a special niche with the duck & they do it right. The Peking duck is a labour of love & it shows, the various crispy duck preparations are all tasty. Staff is warm & attentive, atmosphere is interesting to say the least with the old Italian glass on the ceiling. more

The food was awful. Chicken was mushy, fried rice was not fried. Set gratuity for a four person table of 18%. Overly expensive. Do not eat here!! more

Dirty old building. This place is an old Pompano landmark, but the key word here is OLD. It used to be good and fresh in the past but now the food is old just like the building. I ordered scallops and seafood when I was there and when the food arrived, it tasted old and fishy. There are plenty of other good & fresh Asian restaurants in the area that are worth patronizing rather than this place. Everything is old and dirty inside as well. Filthy bathrooms, tends to attract a serious older crowd especially during the fall season. Let them have it. more

The best Chinese food, wow! Loved the Pu-Pu Platter appetizer and can honestly say that the pepper steak was the best I ever had... And I have been to very many Chinese restaurants... This one beats them all and the portions are so big that everybody walked out with a doggy-bag! Great restaurant, great service and very reasonable prices! Not to be missed!! more

We're not in Boston! We're not in New York! Nor are we in Philly or San Fran so i didn't expect excellent Peking Duck at this noisy crowded restaurant but noisy & crowded also tells you something.The place is excellent! Their specialty, believe it or not is Peking Duck. I bet that comes as a surprise doesn't it. \r \r The very pleasant surprise is how well the duck is prepared & served. Everything was delicious. Everything was served at the right temperature. Everything looked appetizing.\r \r If you think any of the locations mentioned above are too far to go for dinner, you can't go wrong going here. more
